Min absoluta favorit i Prag, bor alltid där, fantastiskt läge, helt förtrollande, trodde herr Brage skulle gå förbi vilken sekund som helst...

Hotell med helt perfekt läge. Stort fint rum som var mycket rent. Lite trött personal i receptionen, men de hjälpte till med det lilla vi bad om. Helt ok frukost. Skulle gärna bo här igen, dock främst tack vare läget. Hotellet uppdelat i två hus. Vi bodde inte i huset med receptionen, utan vi fick gå över ett litet torg till frukosten. Att rummen var fina och att läget var bra överskuggades totalt då jag fick ett så otroligt respektlöst bemötande från personalen i receptionen. Min klocka försvann från hotellrummet vår andra dag efter att jag av misstag glömt den kvar i rummet då vi gick ut. Jag berättade för receptionisten på ett väldigt ödmjukt sätt och föreslog att den möjligtvis […] kunde råkat komma med i tvätten, men fick inga sympatier överhuvudtaget. Killen sa att han skulle fråga städerskan senare på dagen. Inget hände, så senare samma dag frågade jag en annan receptionist, som verkade vara någon slags chef, och fick samma dåliga bemötande igen. De var så totalt ohjälpsamma, otrevliga och kalla även fast jag med allra största sannolikhet råkat ut för stöld från en i deras personal. Jag blev riktigt illa berörd och detta la en skugga över hela min vistelse i Prag. Jag fick ingen som helst hjälp och blev riktigt illa bemött, därför kan jag absolut inte rekommendera det här hotellet till någon. Om ni bestämmer er för att bo här; var då väldigt noga med att inte lämna absolut någonting av värde i rummet, det kommer med stor sannolikhet inte vara kvar där när ni kommer tillbaka. Läs mer

The Bishop's House is one of several hotels owned by a company (AVAHotels, I think). There was a problem with my room at Bishop's House when I arrived, so I was sent to another property about 400 m away (Waldstein Hotel). It was fine, but no desk clerk after 1900 and I arrived at 2030. What problems I did have were promptly resolved. The desk clerks […] (0700-1900) were really very nice and helpful. Stay flexible! perfect place to explore Prague, very accomodating-ie early check in , early check out, with breakfast available for me before normal breakfast hours. Helpfull staff for info on sights and places to go, English speaking,

cleaning and comfortable hotel

Location is perfect, breakfast is delicious and has many choice. Room is clean but with Disinfectant smell.

This hotel is conveniently located for the Charles Bridge only a minute away, but far enough away from the noise. We reserved a room for 3. Unfortunately the single bed was very uncomfortable. The furniture was all dated however the room was clean. This was no luxury pad but convenient for the sights and acceptable for a short stay. Certainly not a […] 4 star more a 3 star. I can't praise this hotel enough in this little space. We ended up in the old section on the top floor. It was more than a room, it was a suite but with character and history. If you can stay in the old section - yes there were no elevators but it's worth the walk up the beautiful winding staircase. It was a massive room and totally gorgeous with antique […] furniture and an old painted ceiling. Totally loved this room. No complaints at all. Especially considering the price - it was the cheapest room on our trip but the most beautiful and the biggest. I didn't want to leave. This Hotel is not located in the old town but is just across the famous Charles bridge which puts it only 5 minutes from the old town. We had a double room which unfortunately looked out into an internal space and thus had no view. Eventhough the hotel is near to the river, its view is obstructed by other buildings as it is tucked away at the back of […] a quiet square. The room was tastfully furnished and had a modern well sized bathroom. We found the staff helpful and spoke excellent english. The only disapointment was the absence of in-room tea/coffee making facilities. We were looking forward to a 4 night stay at "Bishop's House". However our flight out of New York was cancelled due to huricane Irene. We tried to get a flight to Prague from other airports but couldn't. Upon notifying the hotel of our problem we still had to pay a cancellation fee. The hotel is in a very good place. Maybe 50 meters to Charles' Bridge. The receptionists were very helpful. The room was clean and big enough. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone, as long as the price stays competitive.

Great location. Practically right next to Charles Bridge.Good room size. Staff could learn to smile once in a while, but that was normal for just about all the people in Prague.

I stayed only one night, but have no complaints about cleanliness or comfort. It's a bit old fashioned, which is nice, and couldn't be closer to the Charles Bridge and other sites.

We were put in the hotel's second building, across the road from the main building. The rooms were uncomfortably warm, and it wasn't hot outside. We noticed that many guests opened windows at night. The main problem for us was security in the second building. The issue is that the building needs each person to lock the front door. Of course they don't. […] It was regularly left open. We pointed this out and shoulders were shrugged. The guidelines for reviews state that "reports of violent or criminal activity" cannot be posted. Thus we'd just say that security was not at all up to standard, without mentioning a scary incident. The hotel is in a reasonable location, its breakfast is average, but not great value compared with other hotels in the locality. We did a lot of research before choosing this hotel, but are forced to recommend that it is not to place to stay if you are concerned about security in a hotel. Läs mer

On the whole, it was in a great location and the standards of the hotel were pretty good. The complaints we have are, that our room was directly facing the staff room with open windows, we woke up to the chatters of the staff and cigarette smell. The other complaint is that we couldn't receive wifi even though we were told it was free.

The hotel had an issue with our booking so they moved us up the hill to one of their other properties The Golden Star. The process was easy and they upgraded us to a suite for the hassle. So while we did not stay at the Bishop House, I would highly recommend the group that ownes these four hotels in Prague. This is a great hotel, very close to the Charles Bridge, but on a quiet side street, so away from the hoards of tourists that clog the bridge. A perfect base for a city break, as you can easily walk to all the main sights form there.

One minute from Charles Bridge, in a quiet side street, friendly staff, very helpful, very nice food. We couldn't believe how close it was to everything. Nice clean spacious room, would recommend and will stay there again next time in Prague.

This was our first visit to Prague and we booked a room at Bishop Hotel based on its low rates and good reviews. People weren't kidding about the location! We were literally a stone's toss from the Charles Bridge, but in a very quiet cul de sac. We felt comfortable leaving our car parked out front (for a small fee), rather than parking it across the […] river in the closest secure garage. The room was clean, simple, and cozy. The only downside was the low, sloped ceiling over the bath (however, we were in an attic room and I'd bet the lower floors had full height ceilings). The included breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty...a good European continental spread. When we went sightseeing, the front desk clerk was informative and had good recommendations for anything we wanted to see, eat, or drink. We walked everywhere, which was easy to do because the location was unbelievable. When we return to Prague, we will definitely be staying again at the Bishop's House hotel. Läs mer

great location, friendly staff, good breakfast and clean and confortable room

The location is the best thing about this hotel, it is literally round the corner from the Charles Bridge but slightly tucked away so not too noisy. Room was a decent size, pretty and very clean. I would stay again and recommend it to others.

ótima localização, fizemos tudo a pé. O quarto era enorme, mas a cama de casal era com 2 colções de solteiro, o q não atrapalhou nada! o banheiro era tipicamente europeu: o chuveiro e a pia ficavam separados do local do vaso sanitário. O café da manhã era muito bom, com bastante variedade.

Hotellet ligger fantastisk for de fleste seværdigheder. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Værelset helt fint.. Vil klart booke det en anden gang.

Rigtigt godt hotel til prisen med fantastisk beliggenhed ved foden af Karlsbroen. Fungerede rigtigt godt efter tjekkisk standard.

Veldig fornøyd med hotellets beliggenhet og betjening.Hyggelig rom,men kanskje noe lite møbelert.Vil gjerne bo der igjen.

Das Hotel ist in einer super Lage direkt an der westl. Uferseiter der Moldau an der Karlsbrücke. Die U-Bahn und Straßenbahn ist in nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Bishop´s House ligger 75 m fra Karlsbroen på en rolig vej hvor der er fred om natten, men alligevel tæt på alt, der er mange restauranter omkring hotellet.. Lille pænt hotel hvor alt var i orden, lækker morgenmads buffet. Den bedste morgenmad jeg har fået i Prag. Personalet i receptionen var meget venlige og hjælpsomme med at bestille ture. Det eneste […] minus var, at der ikke var aircondition på værelserne. Bishop´s House Ligger meget tæt på floden hvor der også ligger flere hyggelige spisesteder. Alle seværdigheder ligger i gåafstand fra hotellet. Der ligger også en Metrostation tæt på hotellet, så det er nemt, at komme rundt i Prag. Kan kun anbefale Bishop´s House. Schönes Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage bei der Karlsbrücke, trotzdem ruhig. Geräumige saubere Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung. Das Personal am Empfang ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.
