Plus: *Den romantiska/rena/vackra inredningen där de lyckats göra ett gammalt rustikt hus mysigt. Helt otroligt att man kan göra detta på så bra sätt (ogillar annars starkt gamla rustika spanska kolonial byggnader). *trevlig personal *tänker på små finesser som levande ljus, rosenblad, exklusiva tvålar på toaletterna etc *fick en chokladkaka med jordgubbar till rummet en kväll (utan avgift) *mycket bra läge för turistande (mitt i gamla stan) *fanns stationär dator för internetanvändning *fanns restaurang med ok mat och en bar i en mysig innergård Minus: *Hittade inget värdeskåp vilket skulle finnas enligt beskrivningen *Stod att vi skulle få king size säng men enligt vad jag kan om sängar fick vi definitivt en queen size *mycket litet rum och minimal toalett (kallas ändå svit). *hotellpoolen var inte vattenfylld när vi var där. *frukost ingick ej *vissa rum ligger mot en gata så det kan förekomma gatuljud under natt och tidig morgon

Beautiful hotel with lovely antique furniture and individually decorated rooms. Helpful and friendly staff, that helped us make reservations for a day trip to Uxmal and buy bus tickets for our trip back to Cancún. The continental breakfast included in the price for the hotel room was excellent - fresh fruit, sweet buns, freshly made orange juice, milk with cereals, tea and coffee. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The hotel also has a lovely little pool, perfect to be able to cool down after a hot day on the town. The only drawbacks are beds that are somewhat hard (although this seems to be common in Mexico), towels were raggedy and it's located 1,5-2 km from the city centre. On the other hand taxi fares are very low, so whenever we were heading out we caught a taxi. This was only due to that faxct that I'm pregnant, for normal walkers the distance should pose no problem.

"Lovely Hotel in a great location"
This hotel is lovely and very comfortable. The restaurant was fabulous and everyone was incredibly nice. The location is perfect to explore the city on foot.

Lovely small boutique hotel, located at the southern bend of Paseo Montejo so you're steps away from Noche Mexicana on Saturday and the closure of Paseo on Sunday for the arts/music/pedestrian fun. "Great hostess; very convenient location."
We enjoyed our two separate stays in Hotel Casa San Angel. Both rooms were attractively furnished, and the bed was firm and comfortable. A huge bonus was the hotel restaurant, where we ate most of our meals in Merida.
"Charming Merida Inn"
The hotel is as charming as it looks. Very colorful design and excellent food service for a small facility. We found the hosts very personable and enjoyed our stay despite having no air-conditioning on a stifling night. Central courtyard is mural, plant, and bird filled. Walk to town center.

The San Angel is a real gem. A beautiful courtyard greets guests in this small, quiet hotel located at the beginning of one of the main streets in Merida. "Highly recommended"
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and loved it. The food in the restaurant is really good and the staff is really friendly and will go out of their way to help you in anything they can. The room was comfortable although a bit noisy because it had street view. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

The Casa San Angel was everything i expected after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews. The owner lives at the hotel and she makes sure you aren`t disappointed by keeping the hotel as you expect it to be. The staff is very friendly and when i came back from my tours it was like i was coming home. I have lower back problems and i have never slept […] in a better bed which is a big thing to me. "Interesting Hotel-Very interesting stay."
This is a very pretty nice boutique hotel. Extremely Clean. Decorated in beautiful authentic Mexican style. Extremely Nice staff. Beds are on the firm side, no elevator so be prepared for stairs, rooms have nice air conditioning and ceiling fans, however cental spaces are open aired and not air conditioned. Very Lovely Plantings and Gardens, lovely […] small pool, parrots and house cat. The nicest, prettiest, cleanest Small hotel I've stayed at. Location is fabulous and very easy to get to.
