Very good location, a great place to stay , with a good service and a quite relaxing atmosphere. Even though the htel seemed to be fully booked I didn't have the impression of it being too crowded. Nice rooms where you can rest without noise. Clean, sober, modern renovation.

The St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel is housed in an epically majestic building. You really must experience it. But, ensure you know what to expect. Rooms in the Barlow wing are really nothing special - just ordinary good quality hotel rooms. You wouldn't know you were anywhere special. Also beware of problems with your booking - we booked an extra bed for our daughter but the hotel did not have this information and only agreed to provide third bed when I showed hotels.com printout. This took over an hour to sort out - time lost to us. Otherwise hotel is extremely convenidnt for Eurostar departures and I would recommend it to anyone with a morning departure to Paris or Brussels. Chose this hotel mainly for it's proximity to Kings Cross Station, but was delighted with my choice. Friendly staff, amazing surroundings and a large comfortable room with all facilities made this a very enjoyable stay. On arrival we were told room wasn't ready and the receptionist took my phone number and we were told she would phone us when the room was ready. Two hours later no phone call i went back to the reception explained our situation and our room was ready! It was a poor start to my girlfriends birthday.

Big disappointment. While travelling through Europe with my two teens I felt this would be a great place to stay after returning from Paris by Eurostar for one night before our flight home. When they came with the roll away they moved the furniture and it was so tight we could not move. When I asked how to get a refund when I prepaid for the room I was given a different room with 2 single single beds and a view of the side of a roof. Then I found out children under the age of 16 were only allowed in the pool between 8 am and 10 am and 2 pm and 4 pm. I really wish I had that information before I booked the room . Prior to the stay at the St. Pancras Renaissance London, we had stayed at the Park Plaza Victoria near the Victoria Station. It was fantastic. I felt safe letting my children out without me. The St. Pancras Renaissance London is in a very scary part of London and my children were frighten to leave the hotel. Staying in a junior suite in the original front of the building, the design and restoration of the whole building is absolutely stunning. The room itself was nicely decorated with interesting period features although road noise was noticable if somewhat muffled by the thick drapes. There were a number of interesting restaurants and bars within the […] hotel which all had an interesting modern twist on Victoriana; quirky 'old fashion' drinks at the bar and reworked traditional British menu choices in the restaurant. My wife and me enjoyed the architecture /history and comfort of this hotel. Not cheap, but worth the money.

Perfect hotel for first timers to London and business travelers. Convenient to underground and speedy cab service. Loved our stay here!

Fantastic building, we had a club room which is well worth the extra costs involved, especially if you make full use of the facilities and extras available. Food and wine and coffee available included in the room rate all day. Major jiggle was the £50 per night unexpected car parking charge. Stayed overnight with my husband, the hotel was lovely, staff were very pleasant and helpful. Only one thing I would have a little grumble about were the teeny-tiny tables in the breakfast dining area, we were seated at a table for two & honestly the tables were so small that we had real problems keeping all our plates, cups & cutlery on it! Never seen […] such tiny tables in a dinning area ever! Such a shame as the rest of the experience at the hotel was fabulous. Superb hotel, couldn't fault it for comfort, service, style, architecture, location and facilities. The only fault was that they tried to charge me again for accommodation when I had already paid in full when I booked with Hotels.com.

Paying £4 for a second cup of coffee at breakfast is not acceptable - have travelled the world and stayed in quality hotels but have not paid for a second cup of coffee. When telling friends about our stay they are all amazed about the charge

Arrives t 1.30 pm and was told check in is 4 pm returned at 3 pm was goven a street level room overlooking the side street after declining a twin. Check in very informal and slow 10 mins wait each time. The buIlding is interesting and worthwhile to see. Rooms are new iit opened on MAY 1 but not up to Las Vegas standard. I joined the Midland Division of the LMS Railway, so St Pancras is my ancestral home, and I have used the station many timesover the last 60 years. It was quite a thrill to see how beautifully restored the old place has been done. The calibre of the staff was also excellent. The were smart, courteous, welcoming and smiling. Great location in city centre. Rooms have plenty space and very clean. Quiet. Very, very expensive, food and drink well out of our budget. Nice accommodation for a special treat or event.

Had a wonderful stay here on a family trip with our three-year-old. The hotel is a walk to the British Museum and other sights in Bloomsbury, and because it is adjacent to St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations (with a side entrance literally inside the St. Pancras station), is a center for bus and tube lines, as well as heavy rail for day trips. But […] this is easily the most beautiful urban hotel I have ever visited, and the hoopla over its recent renovation, if anything, understates its beauty -- returning through the brick tower and lobby took our breath away every evening. While the interior rooms in the modern wing, where we stayed, seem like modern hotel rooms (very nice and comfortable ones with the comforts of fully modern plumbing and soundproofing), the entrance, lobby, restaurants and all visible exteriors are restored and gorgeous. Both the fine dining restaurant, the Gilbert Scott, offers an elegant dining room and a delicious and innovative take on traditional British fare, and the bar in the more casual Booking Room has excellent cocktails. This has been one hotel I wanted to stay at ever since they announced the refurbishment, its a stunning building and they have made such a good job of converting it into a comfortable, luxurious and very relaxing hotel. Definately one which i will go back to.

建物は素晴らしく、ただただ圧倒されるばかりでした。翌朝に頂いた朝食は今までで最高に美味しく、また朝食部屋が素晴らしく、ユーロスターの発着が目の前にありました。是非また宿泊したいです。建物のほとんどはマンションになっていました。住人になれたら最高です。

Excellent séjour que nous avons passé dans cet hôtel. Très beau bâtiment, décoratoin soignée, personnel serviable. Cependant, il est dommage de ne pas avoir trouvé un employé parlant un peu le français...

Wir können dieses Hotel in jeder Beziehung weiterempfehlen. Wunderschönes Gebäude, ansprechende Zimmer mit sehr bequemen grossen Betten, sehr freundlicher Service, traumhafte Bar mit Superdrinks und hervorragendem Weinangebot, perfekte Lage mit U-Bahn-Station quasi im Hause. Wir haben keinerlei Beanstandungen anzubringen. Einfach perfekt.

Das Hotel ist sehr verkehrsgünstig aber in einem nicht wirklich ansprechendem Teil Londons gelegen. Blitzsauber, kompetente und sehr höfliche Mitarbeiter. Erstaunlich war aber, dass ein 5-Sternehotel (auch) über so kleine Zimmer, wenn auch mit geräumigem Bad verfügt, das Bad allerdings bei einem Doppelzimmer mit nur einem Waschbecken und keinem Bidet […] ausgestattet ist. Vermutlich haben wir eine "billige" Kategorie erwischt. Wir kommen jedenfalls wieder und können das Haus gerne weiter empfehlen; der Eurotrain hat seine Endstation "im Hause". Nationale Züge, U-Bahnlinien und Autobusse stoppen fast vor der Tür. Läs mer

Kann das Hotel wirklich empfehlen. Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr bemüht. Optisch wirklich richtig ansprechend. Es ist zwar nicht das billigste, aber für den preis bekommt man echt seehr viel. Badezimmer ist auch echt schön eingerichtetund seehr sauber. Viel Spaß in diesem Hotel!
