Vi bodde en vecka på Al Raha Beach Hotel, bokade sent och fick ett bra pris, men fick då ett rum utan balkong och med "road view", dvs med fönster ut mot motorvägen. Dock var ljudet från motorvägen inte något som störde. Rummet var rymligt och fint, men vi saknade strykjärn. Stort och fint badrum. Room servicen var bra. Lobby, poolområde, gym och squashbanor var jättefina. De har en barnpool med en hyfsad lekställning i mitten, med rutschkanor etc. Såg helt ok ut om man hade haft med sig barn (vilket vi inte hade). "Stranden" var en remsa sand framför en kanal, ganska trist. Restaurangerna (en mindre medelhavsrestaurang och en större "matsal" med buffé) var båda helt ok, men inte direkt minnesvärt. Frukostbuffén var bra, men var i den lägre skalan av 5-stjärniga frukostar (t ex saknades färskpressad apelsinjuice och nygjorda våfflor/pannkakor). Personalen var mycket trevlig. Hotellet har egen ingång till den ganska trista Al Raha Mall. Dock praktiskt med en bra matbutik i närheten, eftersom det inte ingick frukost i vårt rumspris och frukostbuffén var ganska dyr. Hotellet ligger ca 3 mil utanför city, men gratisbussar går in till stan ca 5 ggr/dag. Vi åkte in ett par gånger och tog då taxi tillbaka till hotellet (ca 100 SEK och ca 30 minuter). Det är ett litet projekt att ta sig in till stan. Vi kommer definitivt att åka tillbaka till Abu Dhabi men kommer då att välja boende antingen centralt i stan, eller på Saadiyat Island så att man får en riktig strand och havsutsikt.

Otroligt läge vid fantastisk strand och bara 10 minuter från centrum.Fina poolområden, även enskild vuxenpool. Väldigt smakfulla och rymliga rum. Lugnt och tyst. Fantastiska allmänna utrymmen. Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Bästa barnklubben vi någonsin varit på (2 barn 5 och 8 år). Enda negativa var maten, vi besökte två av de totalt sju restauranger som finns på området och det var överprissatt och tråkig mat.

Prisvärt hotell med alla bekvämligheter (förutom alkohol då). Ska kanske tilläggas att extrakostnaderna (mat,etc) är högre än snittet, men detta troligtvis p.g.a. att det är ett 5-stjärnigt hotell. "Price - Quality - Shopping!"
Excellent value for money. Right next to the Mall for shopping and eating. Quite far from the beach (need car in Abu Dhabi). Rita, the Portuguese receptionist, a genius! Attentive and polyglot! "Frustrating State of the art technology"

There was a 2-3 hour delay getting my internet service working and then I learned on check-out that 'free' internet was low speed and that hi-speed internet #such as it was# was at an additional charge of about $20+ / day. This is an excellent hotel with fantastic staff. we had a club room and this was excellent value. the club lounge was amazing with great staff. "Excellent stay during Grand Prix week"
Excellent service from check in to check out. Room well equipped, comfy bed, towels replaced at least daily. Pool area lovely, different areas get direct sun at different times of the day. Large enough to swim in, great view of the city as you swim! Breakfast had wide selection of food. We ate in the italian restaurant three times, delicious each […] time and staff again very friendly. One morning a member of staff was talking to us and we mentioned we did not have a street map with us, by the time we got to our room, a staff member from the concierge was at our room with one for us! Excellent service! Taxis always available outside hotel (or short walk to taxi rank at mall if needed). We were staying mainly to attend the Grand Prix, the hotel had a shuttle bus running to and from the track which we used each day. The hotel is located next to Al wahda Mall, which has shops, resturant and arcade but there is no move theater. The hotel is 40 minutes away from Abu Dhabi airport. My overall stay was good, the staff were friendly, the roomm was clean, the spa was great. I only have two comments, the first one is that the business centre is only opens from 9am to 6pm […] and the second point is that it takes them a long time to bring your car to the entrance. This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel, which is a good recommendation in itself. The hotel is centraly located & right next to the El Wahda Mall. "Almost luxury"
I have stayed twice in this hotel, and I would return without hesitation. Very comfortable almost luxurious hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast, if it is included in your room price; otherwise, it is expensive (about US$40 at the time of writing!) The staff is very accommodating and personable. Concierge services are excellent. Very helpful with arranging […] trips, making reservations, etc. Services are a little unpredictable! Some days you get fresh soap, others not. Some days you get a newspaper, others not. Some days, the bed gets turned down, others not. Oh well. The room is very comfortable regardless. If you get a room looking to the west, you have a beautiful view of the sunset over the water, but make sure you are in the higher floor levels -- at least higher than 25 (more expensive rooms). If you are any lower than 19, might as well give up the sunset and get a room facing the other way; otherwise you will be right above the roof of the neighboring mall (Al Wahda) which is pretty ugly and noisy (with all the fans going on the rooftop). I cannot recommend the Italian restaurant though; while it looks the part, and the food presentation is impeccable the actual food is mediocre (I have eaten there twice now) and over priced. Well located in Abu Dhabi for business. No beach but a rooftop pool. An excellent gym with the latest equipment. The Italian restaurant needs to be improved from a food quality perspective. I was very pleased with my hotel choice after shopping around on hotels.com. My decision was based on location, amenities and of course the price. In fact for a 5 star hotel it was a very attractive and affordable rate. Given the fact that unlimited internet access, high end toiletries, bath rope, one load of minibar (soft)drinks were all included, […] I must say it actually ended up to be cheaper than other hotels I had considered that started with a much lower rate. So, prices showing up in the list have to be compared more deeply. Sure, there are many great hotels in AD and since I am curious to get to know different ones I most likely would check an other hotel next time but only because of curiosity. Otherwise I would definitely stay there again - the ratio between quality/service and price is amazing. I liked the arabic coffee along with fresh dates that were served in the lobby. Can't say enough about the quality of this hotel. The staff, amenities and food provided in-house were fantastic. The price to book a room through Expedia was really far far less than the price quoted at the front desk. No liquor licence at present, due to "unforeseen administrative oversight".
