Helt perfekt läge, alldeles intill gågatan med shopping. resturangen var lite skolmatsalsliknande och på kvällen spelade de alldeles för hög musik när man skulle äta, men maten var jättebra.

Hotel is located in a San José downtown red zone. Resting is almost impossible, all you can hear during night is shots, riots, noise. Definitely, not a good place for vacation purposes.

The good: Location is great, near everything. Walking distance shops, clubs. The bad: loud, u can hear music from Key Largo all night. curtains ripped in room, musty smell. I thought the location wsa great, the staff spoke good English and were pleasant and the price was very reasonable.LOT OF 70'S AND 80'S MUSIC and an English speaking bartender whose favorite team is the Green Bay Packers!

I absoluteley loved this hotel. I was stuck in San Jose for 15 hours on a layover last Friday night so I grabed this hotel to go find some fun and maybe get some rest. Great Hotel for people who want a decent room at affordable rate. Better suited for young backpackers and single guys. Not a family hotel. Center of town, so traffic noise. And night club next door does not help much at night. But you know what you re looking for, right?

Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall I thought it was a great place to stay, especially for costa rica. The smaller rooms are small but clean. Good water temp in the shower which is a rarity in Costa Rica.

Excellent hotel for the money. Free full breakfast included. Great lunches. Lunch costs $5.80 dollars for a salad bar, rice, beans vegetables, 2 meat or fish entrees, drink and dessert. Clean room and friendly staff. Had no problems with staff or amenities. Hot water, ac, safe in room, double bed. Big, clean bathroom.

Caters to male travelers. The casino is inside. Disco inside the bar area. Very noisy. Located next to a street. It is difficult to get a good nights sleep. The rate is superb. But if you are there to rest and relax...its better to go to another hotel.

This hotel has a great location and an even better price. Just remember the saying, you get what you pay for, only I think this hotel gives you a lot more than you pay for, but that is in my opinion. We had been traveling for a very long time so took a shower and what a shower it was. Loads of hot water and probably the most pressure I've come across in a hotel room, absolutely fantastic shower. Within a short walk of the hotel (say 30 meters to the gate) is Key Largos Bar and slightly further (across the road) is the Blue Marlin Bar (open 24 hours). The Gold Museum and other things are also close. I was the lucky one, i had a room with a window and it was reasonably quiet, the other two rooms we had were a bit noisy in the mornings as other people have mentioned. Free WiFi is yet another bonus and the TV even came with HBO, which was a surprise. The room has a safe and you get the key from the front desk for a small fee. Visitors to the hotel must leave ID at front desk and the front desk require your permission to give back the ID upon the visitors departure. If I'm ever back in San Jose, this will be my first choice Hotel. Hope anyone booking this hotel following my review are not disappointed. Läs mer

Perfect hotel for single male getaway. Rooms cleaned everyday, helpful staff, located in the center of the action. Hotel has complimentary breakfast every morning and decent wifi. Only complaint is the water was not always hot and the rooms with the window facing outside is too noisy. Overall good hotel and I will stay there again.

The hotel and room were nicer than I anticipated. My only complaints were a lack of hot water one day (out of seven) and a somewhat tattered bedspread. I would stay here again because of the convenience to downtown and the pedestrian walkways.

The location in the downtown are was good.They have a reasonably priced Bar-Restaurant on the second floor,but don,t get a room on that floor because the bar is noisy.Overall it was a nice stay.a ABOUT HALF THE EMPLOYEES SPOKE ENGLISH,AND WERE HELPFUL.

The room was spartan, but clean and comfortable. This is a perfect place for a single dude who wants to have fun an party in San Jose. It is a bit noisey, but nt a big deal. I slept well, and my buddy used ear plugs and was fine. Ricardo is a good guy and he can take care of all of your needs.

For a single male, you are right around the corner from Del Rey and its a nice place to get away from the constant pressure of everyone trying to sell you something. My only complaint is the room overlooked the Key Largo club and I had to buy cotton balls to put in my ears to sleep […] at night. They go full blast with music till 4 am, so not good for an early sleeper. Also, the shower worked, but was by hard to get warm. It was either scalding hot or cold. a single guy like me, this is as good as it gets! i expected to be noisy city streets, The location is excellent as long as you're not wandering far at night. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and the rooms are good for the price! Good times at the Morazan that's for sure! Pura Vida.

I wouldn't recommend this place to people taking the family on vacation, but for a single guy like me, this is as good as it gets! The location is excellent as long as you're not wandering far at night. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and the rooms are good for the price! Good times at the Morazan that's for sure! I recently rented this hotel for one night, as a stop-over in San Jose on the way to another destination. The Junior Suite smelled like a moldy ash tray and was pretty empty in terms of furnishings, not even a couch. The TV remote was missing and I did get it even though I asked the reception twice for it. Same story was with the Free WIFI password, […] no one seemend to know it. My friends decided to join me for a drink before we went exploring the surroundings. They were not planning to stay overnight because they had a hotel outside of downtown; they were just coming in for a few hours. The hotel receptionist would not let them up to my room because apparently there is a $25 per person charge that was not listed anywhere on Hotels.com. After trying to explain our case for about 30 minutes, I was so upset that I ended up checking out on the spot and staying with my friends. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL, it may seem like a cheap hotel in a good location, but you will surely regret the terrible customer service, shabby accommodations and hidden fees. Läs mer

They mixed up our reservation and would not work with us. They claimed they did not have another room available and tried to rent us a much more expensive room. The entire hotel smells like a dirty ash tray. I will never stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone else. The Sleep Inn is much nicer and extremely well maintained.

hello, the front dsk people were ok to talk to, the manager who told me his name was ricky ricardo loved to yell in a rude manner everytime i called to tell him that there was No hot water, i was there 3 nights and got 2 ice cold showers and one luke warm shower. the electric outlets did not work in my roon, there were cock roaches in the room, the […] shower drain was bent, therefore i cut open my foot on it, the a/c window unit was broken, the window curtain was broken, the closet room safe did not work. the maid lady was nice to me, the hotel casino is open some times and often closed.. i would never go there agian.. I wanted to tip the bellboy so I exchanged a large bill at the casino attached to the hotel and they gave me notes that are out of circulation which I did not notice until I got to the airport and could no longer exchange them with dollars.

In the neigbourhood are certain places that seem to be open all night. So not only strong traffic but also drunk guys and screaming girls don't let you sleep. It's a fine place to spend the first night of your stay.
