Mycket bra att sova över en natt på genomresa. Nära med taxi från flygplatsen. Rent och fräscht , men små rum. Sängen var en aning kort för min långa make. Bra madrasser och rent badrum. We chose this for the proximity to the airport for an early morning departure. It worked OK for that purpose (10 mi taxi ride). The room was small but clean. I was thoroughly pleased with Han Hostel. In particular, my room was remarkably clean and the location was perfect for coming from/going to the Ataturk airport at odd hours. We stayed here because we had a very early morning flight and it was a very good location for that. It was 10 minutes from the airport and was about 45 minutes to the center. Agreed - hotel foyer like an average 3 star. Modern & nicely done. I had a single room - this was more like a 2 *- small and basic - but OK if only staying 1 night. VERY near airport only 15TL in a taxi & only 10 mins max away. Staff very helpful. Very clean and nice decor. Friendly service. Location was decent as we had a very early morning flight to airport and is close to airport. There is a shopping mall only 5 minute walk away that was quite nice as well. Overall very happy with my stay.

I chose this hotel because it is very close to the airport. Its about an $8 taxi fare each way and 10 minutes to the terminal. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated, and friendly. I booked this thinking it was an HOTEL, so I was pretty unhappy when I arrived... however when you realise that thiis is a hostel, it is actually pretty good. Rooms are reaslly BASIC, but they are clean with a double bed. The rooms do not have a/c which I would imagine is a massive issue in the summer. The gym is pretty poor and the restuarant is more […] of a cafeteria. The airport is very close. To be honest, for the money, it was pretty good value with free wifi included. The hostel is about a 10 minute drive from the Airport. It is clean and safe, and a 10 minute walk to a large mall. There are also restaurants and a dentist right across the main road. The hostel reminded me of a dorm style, but with a very modern decor and modern safety features.

This is a good place to stay if you need to be near the airport. The rooms are spartan but clean. The only problem I found with the hotel is that the lobby is not on the same level as the elevator so moving a lot of luggage is a concern. The taxi rte to or from the airport is only 15TL.

An HOSTEL? looks like a 5 stars hotel to me... but cheap ;) We were all amazed by this place, that looks like an extravagant sciences center. What we did not know is, they offer a free shuttle, 3 times a day, back and fourth to the subway station. Honestly, for us, we were going back to the airport the next morning, the location was perfect ( 15 TL taxi ride, 5-10 min). I was looking for a good rest for an 18 hour layover between flights. The Han Hostel was ideal & inexpensive. Only a 10 minute taxi ride from airport. Small but comfortable room. Breakfast & a good exercise room for jetlag. There's an outlet mall nearby for good coffee & meals. I will use this hostel often.

I have traveled extensively for 25 years, but this is the first time I've stayed in a "Hostel". I was a little apprehensive. However, this place clearly raises the bar for hostels. It was perfect in every way for me. I needed something close to the airport in Istanbul and with a reasonable cost and a private room. The taxi driver knew right where it […] was and the fare was about US$6.50. It only took 8 minutes to get from the airport to the Han Hostel in rush hour. The check-in was quick and easy, There was a pleasant English speaker at the desk. My room rate included breakfast but since I was departing so early in the morning, the hotel staff actually packed a breakfast for me to take with me. The facility itself was immaculately clean with amazing decorations of stone/quartz/cut rocks, etc. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. There are kitchens for guests to use, and a supermarket 2 minutes around the corner. The staff called a taxi for me early in the morning and the taxi arrived within 5 minutes. We were looking for some place close to the airport. We found this hostel. It is less than 10 minutes away from the airport. It was the perfect choice for us: nice staff, clean room, proper bed and clothing, etc. There was no A/C in the room and the heat was terrible, despite the fact that we were there in the winter. The neighborhood is not interesting, […] so you might not want to walk around in the night, but there is a shopping mall 5 minutes away. We did not dine in the restaurant of this hostel. Instead, we tried the food court in the mall. You will definitely find more options there! The hostel was a short 10 min taxi ride from the airport. As I arrived past midnight, my taxi fare to the hostel was TYL15, but the return journey to the airport the next day was TYL12.50. The hostel is located in somewhat of a shopping/industrial area, so the lovely frontage of the hostel looks out of place in a good way. The reception is 3 star hotel […] quality, far surpasses my expectation for a hostel! The single room has an ensuite shower/toilet, flat screen TV, desk, chair, locker and a single bed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. There was a soap and shampoo dispenser, hair dryer, hand soap and towels, which to me, is in line with what you would expect from a hotel, and is a pleasant surprise for a hostel. The restaurant was like a glamorous canteen. The breakfast choices consisted of breads, sausage, eggs, salad, cheeses, cereal and tea. Can't complain. 4 star hotels serve the exact same things. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel for an overnight stopover which is near Ataturk Airport. It is ideal due to comfort, low cost, cleanliness, friendly/helpful staff and close location to the airport. My wife and I stayed there for a week. Very nice hotel and highly recommended. Be carful while booking Ecomomic twin room, we weren't aware what does that mean but that room wasn't for us so we have upgraded it to Super Euro which was amazing room with a gallary of nice Istanbul view. I forget this is called a hostel because its more like a hotel. Highly recommend this place whether your traveling alone or with a family. Great service, location, and price! I needed a room near the airport that was cheap since we had a 18 hour lay over from Italy to get back home in the US, also because the airport hotel started off 90 € for 3 hours. […] I was actually hesitant to stay at any hostel because most hostels doesn't have a private room and was told it usually was a big room u share with strangers but looking through pictures, it didn't seem that way. In fact it stated u had a private bathroom and pictures of the rooms. First off, it was cheap and very near the airport. When we got there, by a taxi within 10 minutes (only 15€ including tip= about $7), a bellhop came out to the taxi to help us. Very nice staff. most businesses around the hostel is walkable no need of taxi to get around. Got to the room and everything seems new, nice, and very clean. This hostel is nicely decorated inside and out. Nice modern art work. Rooms don't smell like cigarettes, old wood , , or dirty carpet like motels or cheap hotels in the US. Came with a good, simple, fresh breakfast. For the price u pay, it's well worth the money. You pay $60-$70 for motels or cheap hotels in the US and u expect u get your money's worth even if it smells bad, sheets are old, furniture is bad but really you just wasted your money because for $10 more there is something better out there. I would recommend this hotel. The staff were very professional and helpful could not fault them, well done. The hotel has a fantastic collection of interesring artifacts that i found facinating. Only issue was the taxi driver didn't want my fare from the airport as they want a big fare to the city. The hotel reception, dining room and annex are full of very interesting art works, some are for sale - making the public areas of the hotel very attractive to wander around. The hotel held our luggage for us so we were able to spend the day wandering around Istanbul. Han was perfect for us, because we had a 6AM flight to catch the next morning. Less than 10 minutes by taxi to Ataturk airport. Excellent value, very clean room with a very nice bathroom.
