The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was ideal for what I wanted, the room was clean and they had free wifi. Only possible downside was that the room was a bit small - however this was fine as there is enough room.

I stayed with my daughter for just one night, and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a clean friendly peaceful stay. The staff were super and the breakfast was the best I have ever had. To all the staff thank you for a warm and welcome stay.

Not the best hotel i have ever stopped in but by far the most friendly, welcoming and nothing was a problem. Went with 2 friends for a girls weekend and if we ever went to Blackpool we would stay here again.

Hotel better than many other B&Bs I've stayed in in Blackpool, very handy for town centre shops and restaurants and not far from the prom either. Double room provide was fairly small (only about 12 inches between the end of the bed and the wall)but en-suite was OK and LCD TV with digital channels was good too. Secure key cards to access the front door […] and room out of hours, pleasant Reception and a good selection of breakfast items in the morning. We arrived in the evening, the rooms were clean and warm. The hotel is close to the centre of town so handy if you're going for a night out. Left early morning so didn't try breakfast.No parking but public car park 3 streets away.

Good location within easy reach of all attractions on foot .1st impression when we arrived outside was Hoo ? But inside manager was very helpful, allowed us to are room straight away 4 hours before we were supposed to check in ( arrived early to see attractions)room was basic but had everything in it you need . Clean room and friendly service. Hard pillows though! Nice breakfast in terms of choice and quality of food. A bit noisy outside late at night as close to bars and clubs. If you are heading for Pleasure Beach or Water Park, remember it is a long walk from here!!

Pleasant hotel, the single room was quite small but perfectly adequate, and clean. Very good location for the town centre and the Winter Gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful (even getting in Quorn sausages and soya milk!), the cooked breakfast was good. There was a TV and tea/ coffee making provided in the room. There wasn't any on-site parking […] but there is reasonably priced parking nearby. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and will stay there again myself. Läs mer

Honestly wasn't expecting too much as the hotel was so cheap but the staff were lovely and the choice at breakfast (which was included in the price) was amazing. There was also a good dinner menu and I think it was only about £7 for a 3 course meal although we didn't eat in the hotel at dinner time as we were always out and about. There is also a bar […] which we did use one night and there was a pool table as well as a selection of games for the kids. We only really used the hotel for sleeping in/eating breakfast as there was so much in Blackpool the kids wanted to do but well worth the money and would recommend. The staff were all lovely too. Good Bits: This is in a pretty good location. It's within walking distance of the Northern train station, and the beach. Close to the North pier. The downstairs staff and the cook were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. They offer a free breckfast, and also have a select menu for tea. The offered tea was a great deal for the prices listed. […] They also offer discounts on tickets to local attractions. This really saved me dome money! The downside: it's close to several pubs, a busy street and across the street from a tattoo palor. So be aware of earlymorning/late night noise. The tattoo shop has a blaring light that never goes off. The curtains in the room didn't close fully to block it all out. Depending on who was working you either get really good room service or pretty poor. Cleaning took place anywhere from 12pm through 4pm. So hard to plan for it. I had to ask for additional toilet paper twice, and I found myself taking out my own trash. The bed was a bit poorly. Läs mer

This is a typically Blackpool B&B but at the higher end of the scale. Staff were very friendly, breakfast fresh and plentiful and bedrooms whilst small, had everything you could want. Our room was immediately above the bar but if you want peace and quiet, you shouldn't be in Blackpool on a Bank Holiday weekend! We would certainly return.

A friend & i had an overnight stay here on a Saturday. Room was a bit small, Beds a bit low (but comfortable enough). Ensuite was nice & clean as was the room. In room Tea & Coffee facilities were ok & Breakfast was very good.

I stayed here for a week because i was town for business. I booked a single room and got a family room, which was great! nice big room with everything i could need and was very clean. All the staff we're really friendly and did everything they could to make my stay as pleasant as possible. One night i came home late from work and me and the manager […] stayed up having a good old chat and drinks at the hotel bar until way past the closing time that he had first instigated. The breakfast always gave me a good start to the day, there was a wide choice of things including cereals, toast, a fry up etc. Location was great as you could walk to the Blackpool tower in less than 10 minutes. If you do stay at this hotel, make sure you have a night out at 'Funny girls', which is a drag act club opposite the hotel. It's such a fab night out! would recommend this hotel to my friends and would defiantly stay there again. Läs mer

We stayed bank holiday Sunday for one night. There was no parking at the hotel but just down the facing street was a pay and display which cost £3 for 24 hours! Hotel was lovely and clean, bathroom was a bit small but fine seeing as there was only 2 of us in the room. Brilliant location for Blackpool town centre, took us 5 minutes to walk to Talbot […] Road (where all the main bars/shops are). Would definately stay here again :) Läs mer

I recently stayed at The Trentwood Hotel with my boyfriend for few nights while in Blackpool.The Trentwood was very cheap & comfortable,perfect for what we wanted.The staff were very polite and helpful,our room was quite basic but it was comfortable.Small ensuite and tv in room, very clean.The hotel is set on three floors so be prepared if your on the […] top floor.There is a small bar in the hotel serving a wide variety of drinks and a pool table for £1 per game.The breakfast included is very fair; a choice of cereals,toast,tea and coffee also a full cooked breakfast or beans of toast or scrambled egg etc. This is a perfect hotel for a few nights in the town, esecially if like us and only needed somewhere to stay inbetween busy days out at the pleasure beach. It is only a short 5 minute walk into the town centre where most high street stores are based. The pleasure beach is a few miles further down the beach so better to drive or get a bus.. The hotel owner told us it would take an hour or so to walk it. The only problem we found with The Trentwood was the same as many in Blackpool and that was that there was no parking with the hotel. Over the weekends you can park in the road for free but the best option is too park in a near by secure supermarket carpark that is locked over night as we found small damage to our car after a night in the street due to drunk youths in early hours of the morning. The external view of the hotel was completely different from the online photo and was filthy. The Reception, Bar and Dining room were Building sites as ""renovation work" was being done and were also filthy.( we were not told about this when booking) Dirty used coffee cup left on Landing. HOWEVER,The Bedroom and bathroom although Tiny were spotlessly […] clean, well appointed and had lovely small finishing touches like colour co-ordinated cushions and bed comforter. Snow white Bed Linen and towels,(towels folded nicely) and shower gel, shampoo etc a nice touch, with hand wash provided in the bathroom and plenty of toilet paper. Good Quality carpet was used throughout the Stairs, Landings and Bedrooms. There was an overpowering smell of burnt fat at all times unfortunately, BUT, the Breakfast itself was a Joy !! 2 x types of Juice, Every possible kind of Cereal, Toast, Croissants, Fruit, Full English, (cooked how YOU like it) Muffins,cakes, Tea , Coffee etc. A really Pleasurable experience. (apart from the building work ) The Bar was probably the worst messy room . Lastly the staff were very friendly and apologetic for the Mess and made us feel welcome. The contractors staying there were a friendly bunch and weren't foul mouthed and in your face. Rooms and public areas in need of serious refurbishment and thin walls plus noisy other guests made for a disturbed night. Dirty mirrors and a few cobwebs but otherwise relatively clean and bed clean and comfortable. However, probably no worse than other similar places to stay in Blackpool. Breakfast excellent.
