Hotell Hotel 81 Gold - Singapore

Room very small, no space for two suitcases. Bed had like a plastic under sheet,which was not very comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Mediocre. May as well give it a try.

convenient location near temples and places of interest. clean room, comfortable bed, well laundered crisp bed linnen. very satisfied, good value.

Just needed a place to bunk-in for the night. Staff are rather unfriendly and inefficient.

The worst hotel experience I've had in myentire life. I checked out as soon as I saw the room and the area the hotel's situated. Save your money by keeping out of this hotel.

Ok, this hotel is located in the red light district in Geylang. I had no problems coming home drunk at all hours of the night. If your after a quick stop over hotel this is fine. However I would not recommed for families as its likely prositutes will be in front of the hotel when the sun goes down. The rooms are very small and the shower was cold. I was attending a wedding in Singapore and looking for a centrally located hotel that was cheap. This hotel was certainly cheap and I got what I paid for. A mould infested room, an Asian style bathroom (no shower cubicle, just hose on the wall, water drains away on a slanted floor). The room was tiny, with barely any room for movement. Windows could […] not be opened. Thank fully the previous occupants had been so fed up of the odours that they had broken the lock which hadn't been fixed. A free bottle of water and satchet of tea and coffee each day. No breakfast included. Hotel has no facilities. Lot's of food courts on the nearby main road. Lot's of brothels and prostitutes located around the hotel, it is in the middle of the red-light area. Not nice if you have a family or if you don't want to be surrounded by this. As the saying goes - you pay for what you get. This was the cheapest hotel on Hotels.com but I won't be making the same mistake next time. Extremely noisy air-conditioner which is switched-on 24 hours, there was no way to switch off the air-conditioner (I tried several times around 3am but was not successful). Must be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Windows cannot be opened and aircon was blowing on the bed. Shower was in the toilet and towels did not seem to be fresh. Distinct smell in the room. Stayed for one night, as my flight was the next day. Would pay a bit more and stay at a better hotel the next time. the hotels is not good for family

We took a cab from the airport as the hotel is a bit hard to find when you are not used to find addresses in s'pore. it is close to the LRT and buses station. it's a quiet district though there are people everywhere days and nights.

The reception staff are friendly.

This is a well run low cost hotel with basic facilities. the service was attentive, kind and helpful. The location is not bad since it is close to a MRT stop and not too far from downtown and a nice beach at East Coast Park. But it is definitely in the red light district so that needs to be taken into consideration. The neighborhood is not dangerous […] but the sidewalks are a little narrow and crowded sometimes. There is a very nice chinese seafood restaurant a block and a half away called "No Signboard Seafood." We particularly enjoyed the chili crab dish at this restaurant. Läs mer

About 1/2 hr from the main airport. Rooms are small but u get what u pay for. Rooms are generally cleans and staffs are very friendly. I asked for multi-plug and they got me one without any problem. If you have children this probably not a good place for you because the street is full of prostitution.I'm single so I don't care where I stay.lol.

Everything was great there ......service, cleanliness and staff - but no wardrobe to hang your gear and - mattress covered in a vinyl covering whicjh is not so comfortable - area not so central -red light area also

It's not located in the nices neighbourhood but at least it's close to a "subway" station. Very nice hotel though. Clean. Fresh. Helpful staff. Priceworthy.

The hotel is 8-10 min from the Aljunied MRT station, it is in the middle in the hookers area, but for this rate I could not imagine more pleasant place. The room was absolutely clean and silent. If I have to say something wrong, it was only the AC - you can not turn it off. The bathroom was not too big, but really enough. Hotellet er ganske fint, værelserne er små, men prisen er billig. Servicen i receptionen er god, de er både flinke og hjælpsomme. Hotellet kan bestemt anbefales hvis man ønsker at bo billigt i Singapore og rejser alene. Området omkring hotellet fint om dagen, men om aftenen er det fyldt med letlevende piger. 因為隔天早晨一早的班機,所以我選了這家便宜的飯店住一晚,服務人員樂意助人,不過沒啥笑容就是了, 正如其他住客所言,房間基本上打掃得很乾淨,除了浴室洗手台的下水孔積了一些不明的殘渣,我自己用衛生紙把它清掉(有點噁心),其他各方面的清潔度都還不錯,床單下鋪了一層塑膠保潔墊,導致床單變得很滑不好睡,枕頭對我而言太高太硬,我幾乎失眠了整晚,但我先生卻睡得很好,以它便宜的價位,有免費的internet可使用,我覺得CP值頗高,推薦給背包客,但以我的消費能力以後我會選較高價的舒適酒店

Hotellet er meget prisbilligt og man får meget for pengene. Rengøringen er rigtig god og personalenet er meget hjælpsomt. Det eneste minus er området hotellet ligger i. Der er bordeller overalt og om aftenen er området fyldt med piger og mænd der går og glor.

メンテナンスが良く行き届いており、１日１本ミネラルウォーターのサービスもあり、寝泊りするだけであれば全く問題ないレベルでした。 ただ、エアコン（クーラー）の温度設定は可能ですが、ON・OFFが出来ない所が少し残念でした。（温度調節でしのぎました。） 近隣の環境はあまり良い方ではありませんが、問題ないレベルだと思います。

The room is too small, the bed is too hard, tv is also small, tv channels not enought, (no HK tv).

Das Hotel 81 Gold in der Lorong Street liegt in zentraler Lage. Viele gute chinesische "Imbissbuden" und ein reges Leben zeichnet das Viertel aus. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, sehr klein (9 qm) und einfachst ausgestattet. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist jedoch als sehr gut zu bezeichnen.
