Hotell Value Hotel Thomson - Singapore

Rummen är väldigt rena, poolen med utsikt mot alla skyskrapor är ett stort plus. Badrummet var dock extremt litet, hela golvytan blir blöt när man duschar. Billigt med taxi in till centrum, språkkunnig personal och nära till affär med vatten och snacks.

fräscht hotell. små rum men det kvitta då man bara sov där. bekväm säng, rena rum. badrummet va pyttelitet. de stämde att de blev blött i hela toaletten när man duscha men de torka förvånandsvärt fort. de tog ca 5-10min att gå t mrt stationen. överlag ett bra hotell. bra pris, väldigt trevlig personal.

Man får det man betalar för... Fräscha rum, bra städning, dock små rum. Poolen var helt ok. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Negativt var att sängen var lite hård, det var väldigt lyhört från korridoren till rummen och rummen saknade kylskåp. Två nätter och detta pris gör att vi ändå är ganska nöjda..

hotellet var väldigt rent och fint och med pool på taket som var väldigt fin. ligger relativt nära MRT, ungefär 10 min, men man kan även ta bussen dit om man är lat. rummet va fräscht men inte jätte stort om man nu behöver det.

Nice Hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The closest mrt is Novena which is 15 mins walk away. The rooms are clean and the AC is good. The gym is unfortunately only a bike and a treadmill. It is easy to find lots of good food in the neighborhood. For the price, this is a great hotel.

Very helpful front desk staff particularly with finding which bus to tKe to Orchid gardens and also happy to store luggage after we checked out.

Awful, 3 different species of bugs in the room (not a coincidence, my collegue was staying in a different floor and he had bugs too in his room), no window, hair from different parts of the body in the sheets. This is not a real issue in Asia anyway. 2 positive things though: the people working who was friendly and the swimming pool at the 7th floor […] which was amazing. Hotel was top class. very clean and staff were outstanding. Pool area was a major plus. Good bus services just across the road to any where. Great value for money would use hotel again.

Staff very helpful and quickly changed our room after previous guest had smoked in room and we were asthmatic. Front desk people very helpful and after checking out only too happy to store luggage. they were also very helpful in telling us where we could catch a bus to botanic gardens. The orchid gardens are well worth a visit.

Hotel is clean and reception staff efficient. If staying for only one night the cheapest room would be acceptable, however, it will not have a window. That is OK for some. This hotel is very convenient for single or couple travelers with low budget. Not recommended for family with children. The hotel is clean, but its very small and my room doesn't have windows. The hotel is not in a convenient area. The bathroom is horrible as the shower is almost on top of the toilet. There is not courtin or anything. The whole bathroom is literally the size of a shower on a good hotel, but with the toilet and sink inside. When you shower everything gets wet. We found this hotel to be quite comfortable. Since the rooms without window seem congested, we had taken a room with window. Space-wise this was fine. We enjoyed our daily dips in the swimming pool. This Hotel is certainly value for money.

The staff are not friendly and the wifi was not working , I booked 3 rooms for over 2 weeks and still got unfriendly behaviour

Stayed 4 nights. Staff were lovely and very accomodating. Small room and could hear noise outside, ok if you're on a budget and had free wii fii. Thank you

having slippers in the rooms and having signs in the corridors to warn the guest to be quiet

the hotel itself is very clean and definitely sufficient to our needs. small room and toilet but that's pretty much to be expected. we're out from 9 to midnight so not asking for much in terms of space or facility. the nearest mrt is novena, 10 min walk away. gets a bit too much on very hot days. as it is more easy to take bus from the hotel, would […] appreciate specially prepared bus pamphlets to normal place of interests. staying in Value Hotel wasnt not impressive, this is my very first time to book an accomodation on-ine and I'm impressed the way it goes, but unfortunately the hotel we stayed at wasnt impressive compare to other 3* hotel. Staff at the front desk and bell boy were excellent and helpful. Bath and toilet wasnt seperated or no divison so the toilet floor was entirely wet, no soap holder, no cups for rinsing after brushing teeth, etc etc... in short annoying toilet. It's clean, even room is small, location is good, close to the bus stop. Safe and comfortable. Good for money especially for budgeted hotel

First up, the rooms are VERY small! What you see on line in the photos is all there is, there is no surrounding space in the room. Also, what you first think is the toilet cubicle, is also the shower. Room Prices on higher side, and need breakfast at hotel.

Rooms to small, not good at all for 2 people. No safe in the room. Safety deposit boxes at reception were a joke as the staff held both keys!!. One had to sign a form & put ones initials on the back of an envelope that held personal items. The hotel held no responsibility for anything left in their safety deposit boxes. First room we were allocated […] had no window & the smell was awful, mould etc..air con didn't work. Next room wasn't much better but it had a window. It was like a YMCA, lots of noise up & down the corridors, & thin walls. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired.This will probably be last (6th) time we will be in Singapore as it has become so expensive, taxis, food and hotels have doubled in price. For SIngapore you cannot beat this place for price and location. It has very convenient transport options and is less than 10 minutes from Orchard Road. We stayed here for 3 weeks whilst relocating back to Simgapore and were very happy. The rooms are clean, compact & functional. Please note that as in Asia the shower, toilet and vanity are in the […] same small room so when showering everything gets wet....but dries quite quickly. Internet access was included in our room rate and was reasonably reliable. Any issues were fixed promptly. Overall a modern, clean room, all be it small, for a great price. While I wasn't expecting a lot after reading the reviews, I was still hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. From the outside and lobby, the hotel appears pretty nice. Bellman were there to get our luggage and check-in went smoothly. When we got to our room though, I was a little shocked at how small it was. It fit 2 […] twin beds without about 1 1/2 feet between them. There was a 2 ft ledge by the window to put luggage on and a tiny desk that was taken up by the coffeemaker and phone. There was a nice flat screen TV but it was not at a good angle for both beds. The bathroom left you very little room to move around. It was simply a shower head, sink and toilet. There was no real counter space or room to put a change of clothes. Everything got wet when you took a shower anyway. Worst part is that we found a bunch of bugs on the ceiling. They were also all over our towels too. They were about the size of gnats but I don't know what they were. We called the front desk and they sent someone up with a spray can and he sprayed around but it didn't solve the problem. About the only redeeming quality this hotel had was a nice pool and free internet, although I was confused by that. Everything at the hotel said that internet cost $10/day, including the access card they give you, but then they told me it was free and I can verify we weren't charged. It wasn't the greatest connection though and they had to reset their routers more than once when none of our devices could obtain an IP address. Overall I would avoid this hotel unless you're on a very tight budget. After being in Bangkok, for the price I paid here I expected a suite! Läs mer

We arrived on the 21st September 11. Upon arrival we were told our standard room did not have a window which at the time was not an issue. However upon entering the room we were hit with the smell of damp and on closer inspection found mould on the walls. We requested that we change rooms and were shown several other rooms which all had the same issues. […] This was unacceptable and we were eventually, following some lengthy discussions given an upgrade to a room with a window. high expectations coming with the family to Singapore got quickly shattered checking in to this hotel. First room the view was the backsides of a row of outdoor, A/C units! After haggling a while with an not so understanding front desk officer we finally got new rooms. Room soo small you can hardly move. You shower straight on the floor! So after your […] shower, the rest of the day you enter the bathroom you are going out with wet feet! Unreal! We stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are tiny with pretty basic amenities. It has a TV which we really don't need but rooms are clean and The-All-Important bed is decent, it's not 5-Stars but comfortable. Our room though doesn't have a window though, make sure you ask for a room with a window. It's hard for us to know if its daytime or not without a window, […] we had check our watches every now and then. Location wise, VERY far from the center city where YOU want to be. The taxi driver had a hard time looking for our hotel so make sure you print out a map of the hotel before hand. Just around and across the block are bus stops. I would suggest looking for a hotel with a bus stop in your block, so you wouldn't have to cross traffic lights and wait around. It takes approximately around less than 7 minutes to get to the nearest MRT (Novena) station and a total of around 30-45 minutes to get to the touristy areas of the center city via MRT, which I highly recommend. Try looking for a hotel near it, makes the whole experience fun and easy to around. All in all, the hotel is decent but far form the places you want to be. If you're experiencing Singapore in flash of 2 days and 2 nights I would suggest looking for another hotel nearest to the city and near a bus stop or MRT. As ht eHotel was quite nw we expected good facilities. The Hotel is positoned away from the main CBD in an area with no real amneities for westerners (we could not find somewhere to eat breakfast!). The rooms were very samll and paer thin walls meant lots of noise. The rooms did not have any windows which closed in th espace further. The showers leaked […] & the plumbing made odd noises thoughout the night making it hard to sleep. There wwas no wardrobes & gneral facilities in the room were very spartan. The price was cheap and this is a NEW Hotel. But, the room is maybe 2.5m x 3.5m INCLUDING the bathroom. No real place to put suitcases, so if you're shopping heaps, you will struggle to move! Bathroom has 2 towels only - no hand towel and "no, you can't have any more!". Stayed in similarly priced (and higher priced) 'budget' hotels in Singapore that […] are 20+ years old and the air con sounds like a jet plane idling. Not here - very quiet, so thumbs up! Awonderful experience and reak value for money Superior double Room was on 10th floor and had a large window The room was well maintained and the linen was changed everyday Rooms could have been slightly bigger Staff was helpful and services were as promised Satisfied and have no complaints

Clean new and comfortable used it for one night then ended up booking hotel 81 last two nights. Totally regretted it. Cost me the dame per night but was disgusting. Definately will book value over 81 any day bit tight if your with family though but still ideal for two adults.
