I have stayed at this motel about four times in the past year. Love it every time. Very very clean.Motel is new and modern. Great free breakfast with eggs, pancakes, sausage and potatoes, plus lots of cold items. Staff are always very friendly. Free internet. Can't think of anything bad to say about this motel.

The hotel is only two years old so the decor is modern and updated. The customer service was excellent. Of particular note, was the impeccable, friendly service provided by Josée, the front desk attendant who served me, showed me the room and introduced me to the facilities. Staff was extremely friendly, rooms are very nice, bathroom was excellent and roomy, the only thing that will keep me from going back is the bed... It was awful my back would of felt better if I'd slept on the floor, they say they are some sort of orthopedic beds... We stayed in a king.

My family (me, wife, and daughter) really enjoyed the pool and eating at the Canadiana. Everyone at the hotel was very pleasant and fun to talk to. My 5-year-old daughter had a blast, and we appreciated the selection of DVDs behind the front desk (she watched an Ice Age marathon). I was most impressed with the staff as they all went out of their way to be friendly and courteous. Ever the owner came around one day at breakfast to ask how our stay was. And the breakfast was the best free breakfast I ever had at a hotel.

Pleasent staff, the only thing I can suggest is less salt on the morning patatoes and some toys for tourist to use around pool. Also, the add mentionned your location caryed a hot tub, did not see one. Would come again anytime!, Manager warned us of storm, receptionist friendly and suggested movie us. It was great. But Expedia has incorrect information. There is NO hottub!!! We would have booked else where if we had known. We were looking forward to relaxing in the hottub after our day of shopping. We will think twice about booking threw Expedia!

Whenever I go to Halifax, this is the place for me to stay, affordable and yet its cozy ; staff are so accommodating, plus we can order food at any time and they taste awesome. I just loved to be at Comfort Inn - Chain lake drive , Halifax

We were slightly worried about the location before staying but it is in fact in an excellent position to access the airport and for getting around the Halifax area. What made this hotel our hotel of choice again in the future were these following comments. Best staff we have ever met, and we travel all the time. Very comfortable bed and room. Very good complimentary hot breakfast, 10% off coupon on adjoining restaurant with a welcome cocktail included which was appreciated after a full day on the road. I needed an overnight stay for a reasonable rate, that also had good access to downtown Halifax. This location fit the bill very well. Staff were personable and efficient in handling all my needs. The continental breakfast was abundant and varied. My only issue was with the easily heard conversations in the hallway that were sometimes distracting. The room was extremely comfortable, large and spacious. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and the all inclusive breakfasts were nice to have each morning. The location is good for heading out of town to Peggy's Cove or even off towards Truro. Only downfall it is a bit of a distance from downtown but still very accessible […] by car. We were very satisfied with our stay overall. The hotel is quite new and boasts big, clean comfortable rooms. Everything worked well inside too.The other amenities we used also rank high: swimming pool, exercise room and buffet breakfast. Really nice place, but when they tell you it's the last room we have (on hotels.com) then you have to know you are sleeping with the elevator on the ground floor. After a busy day the elevator was not my friend and when obviously asked for a new room, well, there wasn't any. Might as well slept in the elevator shaft for free!

The hotel is new and very nice looking with stylish decor. Ths staff is very friendly. The hotel is located in a commercial area and it is not within walking distance to any attraction. There is a wendy's and a Starbucks next to it. We had a bad raw chicken experience at the hotel restaurant. Included in the price was 2 free drinks and a full buffet […] breakfast when we went.
