Hotellet specialiserar sig tydligen på barn och ungdomar och hotellet kryllade av dessa. Ett oändligt springande och skrikande både natt och dag. Rummet stort som en skokartong och bad rummet också litet. Ingen sänglampa. För att tända eller släcka ljuset var man tvungen att stiga ur sängen eftersom kontakten var på motsatt vägg. Läget perfekt vid MRT och bra Food Court precis vid hotellet och MRT´n. Rummet kanske lite litet, men bra ändå!

A large modern feeling hotel with very small but fresh and clean rooms, where some rooms have a very nice view of the city and some only has a concrete wall opposite the window (i.e. the twin tower). The location is excellent - right by the MRT, making trips within the city or to the airport very easy, the public transport in Singapore being one of […] the best and most convenient I´ve tried. You can also easily walk from the hotel to Little India for great dining or just go and eat at the nice food court right beside the hotel. The hotels pool and breakfast area was very nice. The breakfast was very decent with coffee, juice, fresh fruit, toast and egg & bacon. Service level was good with nice attitude from front desk. For some reason you get toothbrush and schampoo but no soap(!) which is a little strange. The major annoyance though was the noise level, where sound from the corridor was very loud. This is a big hotel with a lot of asian families coming and going around the clock. There seem to be a tradition also to go out in the middle of the night with the hole family, including (loud) children. All this can very very clearly be heard in the room all night, making sleeping difficult. Tip of the day: Bring EAR BUDS!!! Luckily we had this and it helped. Part from this problem the hotel was very good value for money and we actually came back for another stay, where we were upgraded to a room with very nice view of the city but still the same noise problem. All in all, if you want a good priced hotel at a great location this is it for you, but bring ear buds to avoid the noise. Läs mer

We checked in Room No. 563 for 3 days from 11 th April , 2012. First of all, the rooms were too compact & bathroom size was equally worse than the size of the room. To top it up, there were quite a few cockroaches running in the room & also on the bedsheet. Before we checked in ; we could see some dead cockroaches on the walls. We were here for one night so the small room didn't bother us too much. It was also relatively convenient, but extremely busy. (A bit King's Cross-y and lots of activity throughout the day). Typical business hotel. Check in was fast. I was offeded early check in but had to settle for a room with no view on a lower floor, though I had requested for room on higher floor during booking. Very good hotel with comfortable rooms. Great service and location of hotel. Price was reasonable for Singapore.

Worth every penny for its location - the MRT is more or less in the same building. Easy to get there from the airport! Small rooms, but good bed and very clean.

just around the subway exit, and with a street of restaurants next to it (with a hamburger place that's open 24 hours among them). Only downside I could find, was that wifi access was paid.

We stayed at the Hotel V Lavender on three separate times during our revent trip through Singapore and Malaysia. On the plus side, the location near the MRT and the surrounding area wound up being very positive. The food stalls and groceries nearby were a big plus for us. The three suggestions that I have may are: 1) Bar soap in Lav 2) Note Pad by phones […] 3) change floor access restrictions - they are presently very inconvenient for a group traveling together but housed on different floors. For the price of the room they should allow a free Internet access.

Lvd the stay in the V hotel.. Convenient location,nice hotel staff.. WILL CME BK FOR SURE :)

Although it is a bit pricey, however, it is worth the money as it is so close to the MRT station. I would given it a 5 stars if the room charge include internet. The speed is VERY Slooow.

We booked a triple room, though only 2 of us, to get a reasonable size. In fact it was only just large enough for the 2 beds and the double was set against a wall so that there was no access from that side. No soap and no hand towels were provided. We asked for milk for making tea and were told that it couldn't be provided and that we would have to […] use the packets of creamer allocated. There were usually about 5 staff on reception but they were not particularly helpful and there was no information about sightseeing. Breakfast was cheaper than in many hotels but the food was removed at 10 a.m. The hotel was full of school parties for the Easter holiday and it took up to 20 minutes to get into a lift, even with 5 in use. The location of the hotel is excellent above the Lavender MRT. The lobby and the Bathrooms in the room is small one, not recommended for a long stay but a day or a transit may be recommended for the advantage of the MRT.

The location is great and surrounding is good. All you need is surrounding the hotel. The room is clean and comfortable.

It was a two days visit for the family. The hotel ticks all the boxes in term of value for money, convenience, easy access, nearby shops/food court, etc. Check in and out were done in mins ... which is what we need. No complaints ... highly recommend for those who have limited to spare in Singapore.

Location great, very reasonable price for Singapore, good service. The mrt is just downstairs and there's a street alley with local food and Wendys just beside it. The room was serviced every day. Only surprise was how small the room is but this did not spoil the stay. Arrived very Late and quick service provided. Late checkout granted next Day - no problems. Rooms are basic but clean, value provided by the location.

Convenient location as it the MRT is downstairs, food court opens 24hours and is safe at all times as it is a busy location and hotel. However, the room is small without view. Suitable if you are staying for short period. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

A Hotel for "backpackers". Rooms are very narrow . To open the wardrobe you need to move the ded. Only place to place the luggage was windowsill. Expencive wireless internet. Only which was possitive was location (MRT -station and it was clean even it happened they went to clean the room first 8 PM.

BREAKFAST WAS BAD, ROOM SO SMALL, SO CROWDED WAITING AND STUFFING YOURSELF IN THE ELEVATOR - DON;T STAY HERE

We stayed (Couple & 2 year old child) at the Hotel for 3 nights. Coming from KUL where we stayed for 4 nights at a much bigger room and at a cheaper rate, my initial reaction was that it was a rip off. But then thinking about the high cost of living in singapore, I found this hotel value for money compared to the facilities given. The room is small […] and the bathroom is smaller with hardly one person can squeeze inside the shower cubicle. But then it doesnt matter for travellers who will hit out on the road in the morning only to be back late in the evening. For honeymooners thinking of a bath together, this is not the place. The biggest attraction is the fact that MRT station Lavender (East West Line Station No. 11) is just below the property. Also the fact that lots of eateries including, Kopitian, Wendy's etc are besides it. Given the fact that other similar options are much costlier, i would prefer staying here again if required. The V Hotel is in a very good position, with the Lavender MRT station on it's door step.There is a 24 hour food court on the way to the MRT. THe hotel is new and the room's are good, but they are on the small side.They were very busy and the room was not cleaned until late in the afternoon. The staff were good.

I went to singapore for 2 nights and when arriving at the hotel the lobby was very full of people however there were enough staff to attend to all these people and staff were very friendly. This was one of the cheaper hotels that i could find in Singapore and it was very convientent as there was a train station just behind the hotel and i found getting […] around by taxi during non peak hours was very cheap! The location is excellent and there are 24 hours food court. But there are no big shopping mall or supermarket nearby.

Acessible to mrt station since you just have to go down the hotel and lavender station is already there. The hotel is clean although you have to pay for the use of their wifi. Front desk is very efficient it took us less than a minute to check out from the hotel.

I'm glad I ignored the not-so-good reviews as the location and access to quick eats more than made up for the small room and not-so-squeaky-clean room. So if all you need is a good bed to sleep in and shelter from the heat, this hotel is a great choice. The pool area was really nice, too. We stayed total of 5 days on this hotel, first night was terrible noisy cos the room closed to the elevator and we asked the staff to swap the room for us. The staff was very helpful to swapped the room away from elevator and also with the view. Room is not big and that is what we expected in Singapore. But we found a tiny cockroach in the room. It is not bad but I can not also say good. good thing is their location and it is pretty new building but bad thing is they gave me a room that is already occupied so I had to change the room again.
