Mycket bra hotell som är beläget perfekt för strövtåg i centrum. Hög kvalitet genomgående med ett proffsigt bemötande. Kul med möjhligheten att låsa rummet med fingret. Frukostn kan dock med fördel ätas på cafe i närheten. Kommer gärna tillbaka till hotellet

My husband and I came here to top off our trip in Europe for our honeymoon, and it was perfect. We checked in a bit early, around 1:30 P.M., then lounged around, used their pool and sauna, and had dinner (best meal of our trip) in the hotel restaurant. I think our favorite part, though, was that we didn't need a room key -- just our fingerprint. :)

We spent 6 nights there and what an outstanding experience. This hotel met all our expectations. They have a wonderful team of staff that focused on our every need. Special thanks to Marcos who arranged many things for us. Nothing we asked was too much trouble. The location is perfect. Everything was 5 minutes away – sightseeing, shopping, dozens of […] restaurants, 24 hour convenient store, train and metro station. We did not use the hotels restaurants. Our favourite breakfast was at at a bakery called Le Pain, close to the hotel. Our best Paella ever was from Bar Tapas Restaurant, across the road in the main road. And Tappas at Pinotxo at the Ramblas market – it was worth the wait for a seat. Cons - We would have liked a coffee making facility and a full length mirror. I will definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed here post- cruise for one night. They allowed us to check in very early. The hotel is very luxurious and chic. Rooms are very nice (ours had a free mini bar). Huge bathtub and walk in shower. Beautiful swimming pool, steam room, exercise room-- the ultimate relaxation. The hotel is right on the main luxury shopping area. We had a great time at this hotel! I can't say enough good things about it and the service. This place appears to be new. It was close to everything you want to see. The Rooms were very modern and stylish with king size beds (best sleep of our entire vacation). Quiet at night which can be a problem in certain places. Loved the minimalist style of this place. Great 10 foot ceilings, nice blue room! Cool fingerprint access. Been traveling for 3 months around the globe and this is my favorite hotel. Great food in the restaurant, again stylish place, service was a little slow however. But overall, the people were wonderful!

Modern yet charming hotel with excellent service. Some rooms do not have door that separates shower area from the rest of the room, so make sure you are traveling with someone you are close to. Excellent location; thoroughly enjoyed the Alma experience -- my new favorite hotel in Barcelona.

I loved the Alma. It's in a great part of Barcelona and looks as good as the pictures. Staff were delightful, from the first offer of sparkling wine on arrival, to finding us a cab on departure. Highly recommended!

I'm trying to find excuses to return to Barcelona, just so I can stay at the Alma! Yes, it can be a bit dark in the corridors but fortunately the finger-print reader glows, and you don't need to look for a keyhole! The room was modern, comfortable, clean and couldn't be faulted. The complimentary water, juices and soft drinks were appreciated too. Location […] was good - easy walk to Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia and Cinc Sentits for a divine dinner. The staff were always willing to help and provide any information requested. We were there during the austerity protests and the staff kept us informed throughout, as well as ensuring the hotel was secure in case of any incidents. The only minor niggle was that we bought vouchers from the hotel for the Bus Turistic (in order to buy discounted tickets), but turns out the company was participating in a partial strike that week, therefore tours started later than usual. We went with the Barcelona City Tour bus instead since they weren't on strike, and obviously lost out on the vouchers. It would have been good if the hotel staff had known about this and told us before selling the vouchers. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our stay at the Alma and hopefully will be able to re-visit it. I was over charged on some laundry. When I brought to the staffs attention they indicated it would be taken care of. Now a week later it is not take care of. This was not a little over charge. Disappointed that this was not resolved timely.

This hotel is a little way from the busy area of La Rambla, about 15 minutes walk away, so would suit those who want somewhere a little quieter to return to. The area has a good selection of retaurants at varying prices so something for every budget. The hotel itself is modern minimalistic style, so do not expect character or pictures on the wall. The Alma was very accommodating. Room ready for early check in after cruise, great location, very nice staff, clean modern decor, good location for sightseeing. Great little touch was a toothbrush with toothpaste kit- came in handy as our toothpaste supply was almost gone after 10 days touring Europe.

This is an amazing hotel with an equally amazing staff. They all went way, way out of their way to help us in every way possible. I can certainly understand their 5 star rating. The staff alone made our visit the most enjoyable of the six countries that we visited on this trip.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Stylish design, fabulous location, comfortable beds, great service and a quiet night's sleep. Perfect!!!! The only cons were that they didn't have shower caps (handy for us ladies) and there was no door on our shower room, so if you're not travelling with a partner you have to avert your eyes. We loved the location […] of this hotel as it is a block away from Gaudi's La Pedrera and Casa Battlo and easy walking distance from Sagrada Familia and the Gothic quarter. It's off the very elegant Passeig de Gracia so you can enjoy an evening stroll with the locals the moment you step out of your hotel and is an easy walk to the more touristy La Rambla and Gothic Quarter. Alma is a great looking hotel, one that architects and interior designers would love. However though beautifully detailed, some features are not practical. For example, partially glassed shower area without a door meant that the floor outside gets wet. There also no door to the bathroom which meant the room gets a bit cold. Lovely shower gel and other […] amenities but no shower cap or cotton buds. Wonderful free drinks (which included juices) provided every day and lovely chaise lounge to sink in. The moment you walk in you are greeted by a very competent staff, who speak several languages. They were very professional and most helpful, very knowledgable and friendly. Loved the fact that you could use your fingerprint as a door key. Bed was really comfy and showers great. Lovely if you like minimalist chic. Very quiet but within walking distance of many sights and the Gracia stop which most lnes stop at is close by. Slight downside is that the spa is a bit musty smelling and very little gym to speak of. Our large, open plan room was on the top floor of the hotel and had a view over the gaudi house la perdrera, which was very pleasant. The fingerprint entry instead of keys was cool, but also meant that no "who's got the key" moments are possible! We had a fantastic stay, the hotel is quiet and well appointed, and in a very central location, with excellent […] staff.
