DON`T EXPECT ANYTHING BUT AN APARTMENT . NO CONCIERGE , NO BELL BOY .EVERYTHING IS CHEAP INCLUDING THE APARTMENT. THE ONLY ADVANTAGE IS THE LOCATION , VERY CENTRAL , AND CLOSE TO RESTAURANTS ,SUPERMARKET , PHARMACY , CHANGE , ETC. BUT THE SURROUNDING IS NOT NICE , SPECIALLY AT NIGHT.

Continental Breakfast menu needs to improve a lot if your are more than three days. Daily cleaning specially bathroom needs continue working. Location super. Very good apart hotel for couples , families ( room small for big childrens- 15 to 17) and young friends. A lot small good bar restaurant and cafe's. Close for buses, metro and walking distances for Santiago areas. Is locate close to Santiago bank areas for this reason, during night and weekend partially empty streets. Close to food market . Building was in an excellent location in relation to tourist sights and safety. Also a large supermarket was right beside the apartment complex - very handy and open 7 days a week.Our room was a loft which was spacious and nicely laid out. Overall I would highly recommend this property for either short or longer stays.

I stayed here several times over the past two weeks. The rooms are very nice, the location is great for tourists and the staff is very friendly. The drawbacks: the hotel is in an apartment complex, so there are none of the usual hotel amenities. The staff is not there at night, and only one person I met spoke English.

Not a regular hotel. This is an apartment building where you rent some of the small apartments (with a bedroom, livingroom, kitchen and bathroom). The rooms are nice, clean and have everything you need (high-speed internet, tv, telephone, etc.). Quality of service is ok for 2 reasons: (1) when we arrived the person in charge was not there, and we had […] to wait 30 minutes without knowing if we had been scamed or not (at the front desk guards couldn't reach them, and they don't have a sign on their office, it looks like another apartment); (2) breakfast isn't that good, just 3 slides of white bread, milk, juice, butter and jam, although you have a big supermarket next to the apartment buildings. The hotel was well located and convenient to many sights, the metro, shops etc. However, the facilities were very spartan and basic. I discovered while there that better equipped rooms could be obtained for the same rates elsewhere.The staff had no English at all. The breakfast was largely inedible and the facilities were basic. It was very noisy at night,, think the walls must have been made of paper, as we were kept awake all night by traffic noise, loud music and people talking.The breakfast is pretty bad, stale bread, marmalade and a few juice boxes, with only chocolate milk, not the best combination with nescafe. Although the location was convenient, there were several […] adult bars in the area, and this wasn't the best, especially as we had a toddler.There was no cot provided, even though we booked for two adults and a child, and not even a second bed for him. So if you intend to stay with a child, bring your own bed or be prepared to have them in with you, which is what we did, as we didn't bring a cot all the way from Australia. This is not a hotel, it's an apartment for rent. Don't expect for room service. The location is good, in the city center and close to bars and restaurants. City center isn't the best part of Santiago, but you can walk to the main historical and turistic attractions. If you look for a charming neighborhood go to Las Condes or Providencia. This is a very well equipped and modern self catering apartment,with a very convenient central location, the facilities were excellent. However, beware, this is in a block of units with no reception as such, and just a property manager to liaise with. The property managers tried their very best with English as we did with Spanish,however there were […] difficulties in making ourselves understood, Strongly suggest not arriving here after 8pm as there would be no staff around to assist you in locating your unit. Stayed here 5 nights, noisy at night due to the permanent residents partying very late into the night. Very conveniently located in the center of Santiago. A big supermarket is right next door and subway stations are short walking distant. Small negative side is that given the central location, the noise level from the streets traffic and dogs barking at night can be high. I will definitely stay there again when I go to Santiago again.

During our stay, no staff spoke any English, but we managed to communicate with them. On arrival our paperwork was ready. We were assigned room 1817 in tower B.The room was not air condtioned, but a large fan was provided. The queen-sized bed was new and comfortable. A nearby food market had excellent choices for microwaveable meals, and a new refrigerator […] was part of the basic kitchen equipment. Checkout was noon, so we had our luggage stored in the office, in room 2117 in tower B, until we left later for our flight. The hotel is a few blocks from a major square and there are excellent choices for outside meals on the streets near the hotel. We enjoyed Chilean pizza at an outdoor cafe looking onto a wide avenue closed to traffic early in the afternoon on Palm Sunday. Having pesos to pay for food and gifts, was an excellent choice. The trip by taxi to Santiago airport took about thirty minutes and cost 18,000 pesos for two with large luggage. Parking for a car is available for a fee, but driving in Santiago is not for the faint of heart. The price for a room was very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Läs mer

This is an apartment hotel, not a hotel, high standard with a centric locatiion, You don't see much of the staff but they were very friendly and helpfull att check in. It's like living in you owne apartment, fully furnished etc. Cleaning every day.

The Altimira Apartments is 3 months old with excellent amenities. I rented a loft apartment and was very impressed with the conditions of the rooms, white sheets and new towels. The room is cleaned every day and the hotel is located in the center of the Santiago so all the interesting sites are a walking distance away. Det var veldig fin moblert og ren, moderne design og farge. Eneste negativ var internet kobling men etter to klager fikk vi låne en usb modem. Det ligger sentralt og nærmere de fleste turister atrasjoner. Det var en liten kaldt og hyggelig basseng så vi kunne bruke hele tiden. Vi anbefaler det.
