Hotell Cypress Pointe Resort - Orlando

Our stay was just the weekend. Location was convenient to everything. Hotel lacked cleanliness and needs a face lift desperately. Would not stay longer than the two nights.

The staff was very pleasant, the rooms and accommodations were dated and the walls were SO thin you could hear everything and everyone. Do not get the studio room, you will be disappointed.

Having stayed at this resort on numerous occasion I really enjoy the facilities, gym,pool,kiddies play area & cafe,as well as being able to walk to local restaurants. A good location to discover Disney.

well first of all we had to keep asking for towels for the room, there are no towels for the pool area. they said there were 4 pools I only seen one. It was ok because there were only two of us but I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. It was more like a hotel then a resort.

We were 5 in the three bedroom room. It was plenty of space there but most of it with NO A/C where temperture is 100F. there was a sign on top of AC stating not touching it because the engine will condesend... what the h.....! my kids were sweating at night and the A/C did not move below 75F, if you live in Florida you do know how hot it is in July. […] There were signs every where like you only get 2 toilet paper or, 2 towel paper, or if A/C chage below 70F whatever happens to it will be guest responsibility. Even if you tried the A/C will not move below 75F Pleaseeee! I will rather to pay a little bit more that staying here again! we had fun because we were at LEGOLAND all day long, Hotel was terrible! the pool was dirty, the stairs to the room were in bad shape! We always stay here when we are in Orlando and have never been disappointed. We plan to stay here again in the future. The kids love the volcano pool.

DON'T BELIEVE IN THOSE PICS the last place i will ever stay again. first of all nothing to do with the pictures in hotels.com, they got pics from time share side of the hotel but when you make a reservation they give you the rental side of the resort wich is awful, there is no elevator,the air condition can not be lower that 70 degrees because it will […] freeze inside the machine and will leak,my wife slip on the floor and she fell, and all i got was an " i am sorry" from the manager,and the maintenance guy treat me like it was my fault because i put the air condition on 65 degrees so if you are ready to sleep warm IN SUMMER and not get a room services and go to a beautiful pool at nite that close at 11 because the security take you out like they are doing you a favor.go to this resort you will enjoy a big regreat and pain in the back like my wife got right now.oh by the way no kitchen at all an small refrigerator and a microwave and keep going Läs mer

I used to live in Orlando and know many of the hotels. This is not one of the better ones. My room came complete with a dead cockroach. There's no desk or trash can. Guests are not allowed to change the room temperature - my room was a stuffy 74 degrees. And honest to goodness the pillows were maybe 3" thick. I can't for the world imagine what others […] see in this place. Any Residence Inn or Doubletree is going to be nicer than this, let alone a Marriott or Hilton. Läs mer

This is the second time we have stayed at Cypres Pointe. Disney World entrance is just on the "doorstep." Several great restaurants close. Would recommend Cypress Pointe.

the room was great the only problem i had was the taxi company the gave me the number to way over charged and did not have a meter in there car.

There is no elevator at the hotel so if you have to carry your luggae to your room two or three flights.When you get in the room the air condidtion is set and you can not adjust it. The parking lot was full of hoodlum guests who were screaming swearing and playing music until almost 3 am, FOUR calls to the front desk and nothing was done.I was going […] to call the police but the front desk said that they did, which I doubt because if they did show up they would of heard all the noise.Even the guest in other rooms were yelling out to the parking lot...People are trying to sleep!DON NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY this is a horrible place and Expedia should not consider advertising for it.I left after the first night and stayed somewhere else for the other four nights Läs mer

1 bedroom studio - the location was good, the staff nice,the room was clean enough, and loved the big bathtub, but the bed was not the most comfortable and we could hear our neighbors through the walls and adjoining door as if there were no barrier AT ALL (it was almost laughably ridiculous)!!! If you want quiet and the ability to sleep in later than […] your neighbors, this may not be the best choice for you. Also, having to pay for wifi was a little cheap on their end and although the tub and shower were nice and open to the room, the commode was in a separate "closet" that was so small, your knees almost touched the door when it was closed (I have been in larger airplane lavatories!). Looked for a nice weekend getaway for my wife and I away from two "late" teenagers at home. Found this place for a very good price. Very nice for this purpose, although there were some caveats. The "Roman Jacuzzi" Tub inside 1 bedroom unit (which is a closed off Master Bedroom to the rest of the condo, which then becomes a two bedroom unit) is NOT a […] Jacuzzi, there are no jets or motors. It is simply a one person oval tub *MADE BY* Jacuzzi! Also, the small fridge in the room had no ice maker and no ice trays either. A call to the front desk informed me that there were no ice trays to be had. Closest ice was a quarter mile away in the Pool area! The room decor was nice, and features a two person shower, plus, the place was very quiet. the biggest negative, however, is that the bed has seen better days; the mattress was rather worn out, which made us roll together into the center, and it was very thin. Other than that, the location is great, right off of Interstate 4 and close to lots of dining and the Downtown Disney area for entertainment. If you check out a minute late, they will charge you $225!!! Check in is later than usual, at 4pm and check out is earlier than usual for this type of lodging, at 10am, so beware! Parking is ample, fine and free, and NO Resort Fee either! This property fits the bill for a "romance" getaway, and would have been perfect if not for the crummy worn out bed. Läs mer
