The Hotel is nice, but the location of the hotel is kind of far from everything. To go to the city, you can take a bus # 153 across the street to Porte... De La Chapelle metro station then take the metro to the city. But, the price will be almost the same as taking a taxi. To go to the Eiffel Tower by taxi is not a smart thing to do as it costs about 20 Euro/trip.Grocery stores are near by, but the one that is located next to the bar has better service. Most of hotel staffs are very nice and friendly, except Sophie, the receptionist, as she asked for extra money for coffee/hot chocolate which we had been offered for free daily since the day we arrived. One of the receptionist CAN'T speak English at all,which is a very big problem for customers who can't speak French like us. We were asked to pay for the room when we were checking out, which was quite strange as we had already paid the whole sum via Hotels.com. It was a shame to show our proof of the payment in front of other customers while we were living the room's key at the front desk. The hotel might have very bad connection with Hotels.com because we had already paid for the hotel 2 days before we arrived (money had been takekn directly from our account), we stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, and on the checking out day, the hotel still had not received the payment from Hotels.com.
