Helt fantastiskt litet hotell, fräscht, rymligt, massor med personlighet. Den vänliga ägaren Virgilios pratar utmärkt engelska och svarar glatt på alla frågor du kan tänkas ha, han gör också en oslagbar frukost varje morgon. Överglänste alla förväntningar!

Det här områdets stränder är mycket välbesökta eftersom att det ligger så många hotellanläggningar runt omkring. Stranden Playa las Glorias är mycket populär när det gäller båtliv och parasailing. I never write reviews, but this is worth bragging about!! We were amazed the second we pulled up....greeted with champagne and cool towels to refresh with. Our bags were taken to our room. "Nice Property"
This is a lovely property and a good choice for Puerto Vallarta. The staff are excellent and the service is excellent as well. I have been to PV a number of times and stayed at a number of resorts so I have a certain criteria when choosing where I stay. I'll outline my preferences here for you and that may help in your selections when considering accomodations […] when travelling. 1) beds - the beds here are FANTASTIC. I would say the best I have experienced in PV. 2) service - service was excellent - we stayed in the preferred side and it's totally the way to go. No line ups for check in and no waiting. I hate waiting. It was very convenient. The lobby in the Preferred buildings has snacks available all day and the experience was totally worth it. Very good. 3) Pool side service - another plus and very good. No long waits and the staff were very good. 4) Food - the was a fail for me - we ate at the buffet one night, and a theme restaurant one night and that was enough to do me in - we spent the remaining evenings eating off property with the exception of lunches which were the usual all inclusive resort fair. Nothing stellar. 5) Cleanliness) the place is spotless - you could eat off the floor. All in all a positive experience. P.S. not a lot of kids on the NOW side. "Great 5 day getaway."
Just wanted to get away for a few days and stay ay an all-inclusive resort somewhere warm. Now Amber exceeded our expectations. The food was better than other all inclusives. The service was mostly goodod. Exceptions were occasional lapses with housekeeping and problems with the bar staff around pool/beach. Smerimes they were more interested in smoozing […] with each other and drink orders were not delivered. It shares resturants with Secrets (no children). The grounds are lovely. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. If I needed it, they got it for me. The hotel was beautiful, right on the beach. "The best resort vacation ever!"
My husband and I just returned from the best resort vacation of our lives at Now Amber. We have travelled extensively, and yet were blown away by the physical beauty of the resort combined with the friendliest service we have ever experienced. The food was extraordinarily up-scale; this means that dinner consisted of four or five beautifully presented […] small courses. You could pick from six restaurants at Now Amber and also another handful at neighboring Secrets for dinner. By contrast, breakfast and lunch buffets provided a broad array of all-you-can-eat, high quality dishes, so large US males did not lack for food! We also saw large guys ordering multiple appetizers and other courses at dinner. For an all-inclusive, the food was spectacular. The house wines were also excellent. You can order bottles of wine and pay, but that was not necessary given the quality of the house wines. The resort is close to the town - just a short cab ride away costing 5 dollars. There are great bars, galleries and other places of interest in town We had a junior, ocean-view suite and I would recommend that kind of room. The view was spectacular, including the sight of parasailers flying higher than I have ever seen before, and the noise of waves crashing on the beach a soothing backdrop at night even through closed doors. "Great hotel for couples or families."
The hotel is absolutely beautiful!! Had a great time at the swim-up bar--the bartenders were fantastic!!. Great location--close to town. We are not big fans of all-inclusive but the food was above average. We only had 4 dinners at the hotel in 2 weeks but Himitsu for teppanyaki was our favorite!! "Very near perfection"
Now Amber facilities are excellent, my room was luxurious with fantastic views including sunsets over La Bahia Banderas with the array of pools and a quiet beach also being ideal. The range of restaurants covered all tastes (not always the case elsewhere in Mexico for veggies like me) and the standards of service and courtesy delivered by the staff […] were exceptional indulging my basic Spanish whilst being sufficiently bi-lingual to make up for my limitations. Hotel location suited me being far enough from the city centre to provide quiet and relaxation but easy of access by either taxi or local bus to down town or the central bus station for those who like me enjoy a little exploration. This was our 4th time visiting Puerto Vallarta. Now Amber is a beautiful hotel and resort with great service. The rooms are gorgeous and we enjoyed our balcony tub. The food was great, especially in the restaurants for supper. We didn't bring our children this time but they seemed to have a great kids club. It was a very nice hotel to stay in. We had problems with A/C going off, and the safe box lock up and wouldn't work. They had me up until 3:00 am tring to fix it. I lost sleep and time I wanted to spend with family. I lost about 2 days. although the hotel is new and beautiful in many areas, it lacks stimulation and you find yourself bored with the decor after the third day. Poor selection of art and NO decor or style in most of the restaurants. (Has the feel of a sterile waiting room of a train station). "Fantastic, Relaxing, & Romantic 9 Day Vacation!"
It was the best vacation to celebrate me & my husband's anniversary! With goods and downs! With all inclusive, you cant go wrong with all the drinks & food/restaurants they have to offer!The beach was great. So were the pools, especially the pool bar! Our room was cozy, clean and perfect! Entertainment was alright! Servers/bartenders/waitresses/conceirge/receptionists […] were also kind and great. (Just a few were a bit unfavorable.) Yet on our anniversary, the hotel surprised us with a few little surprises! That we found grateful! Thnx! The downside was that 1 or twice we went to a restaurant & order; they would say they ran out of that item (ex. shrimp etc).It ruined our night, especially waiting 30 mins to get in. I know its a family hotel, yet being in the pool with kids is a bit disturbing with all the splashing even if your far from them, they still end up in your way. But then again it is a family hotel! Another thing is the cleaning lady, if your still asleep/don't want to be disturbed, make sure to schedule them a cleaning time that fits your comfort or press the button with a red logo sign near the exit/entrance door. Make sure to press it down when leaving and call to make sure they still will clean. Overall our experience here was still perfect for us! We were relaxed, happy, and enjoyed everything about it. Your money is worth it, for this hotel. You can't go wrong! Once you come in, you won't wanna leave! We for sure will be coming back again! "Be careful for what you expect to be included"
I am not allow to discuss as there were and are still many issues. Hotel is a nice place and alot of great people but... What they say on their site about sauna and stream and workout is WRONG! "Traveling Alone"
The whole experience at Now Amber was perfect. I love it that as soon as I arrived at the hotel, they greeted me with champagne and towel. My luggage was sent to my room right away. The staffs were so attentive and friendly. The room was gorgeous. Everything was spotless. I actually felt comfortable walking around in the room barefooted which I have […] never felt before. I would always wear slippers. I love the jetted tub. The spa was one of the nicest spa I've been to. I love to get pampered at a nice spa every time I travel, and this spa is top notch. Better than some of the spas I've been to in Vegas. The hydrotherapy pool was amazing. The whole ambience at the spa was soothing and relaxing. Awesome view at the waiting area with tea and snacks. The massage therapists are really good. The water pressure was good but I have to say that the water was not hot enough for me. The food was ok. The food at the mexican restaurant was delicious. The drinks were good too. They actually put more alcohol in the drinks than when you're purchasing it outside of the resort. I high recommend Now Amber. I would stay at this resort every time I'm going to PV. I also recommend Vallarta Adventure for activities. We love the swimout room we stayed in. beach is ok. Facilities for kids are great (though we didn't bring our kids for this vacation) The only thing i would suggest they do is to encourage their guest to properly dispose their trash. We stayed in a swimout room and everytime we come out of our room to the pool (which we share with other rooms with a […] swimout) there's always bottles of sodas and plates filed. You can't choose your neighbors but i hope before checking to a room like that the hotel should encourage guests to keep the shared pool clean. They clean the rooms twice a day though. Es un todo incluido en el que no necesitas usar pulsera ni otro distintivo. El hotel es nuevo (inaugurado en abril de 2012) y creo que eso contribuye mucho a que el servicio sea excelente por parte de todo el personal. La comida en los restaurantes italiano y francés es deliciosa y no se necesita reservación. Las albercas se llenan mucho y es quizá […] el único punto flaco del hotel, pero hay que ponerse muy exigentes para considerar eso como una razón para no ir.
