En fantastisk upplevelse, familjär känsla, som att besöka vänner som bott mitt i skogen alltid! Vår rustika lägenhet låg högst upp av de tre byggnaderna. Vi satte aldrig på TV´n tack vare den otroliga utsikten från balkongen. Ingenting för den som tycker det är jobbigt att släpa väskor uppför trappor och som inte uppskattar en svartbjörn på parkeringen... ;o)

"Loved the stream outside the back door."
Overall it was a pleasent stay. disapointed that the pool wasn't open as everyday was suitable for swimming. The free breakfast is a good idea but wish that it started earlier for those of us who had to be up and out before 8:00 AM.Verifierad gästrecension

"Getaway weekend."
Wasn't what I expected, looks a lot different from the photos. Bathroom was super tiny! 2 adults, 2 kids stayed, not a whole lot of room. Overall wasn't terrible, but needs to be updated. Wallpaper peeling, carpets need cleaning, etc.Verifierad gästrecension

"Surrounded by mountains"
I will certainly try to stay at Brookside on our next visit to Gatlinburg. The stream is most enjoyable and relaxing. If exercise is your thing which is important to me, you can certainly get a cardiac workout no matter which direction that you go. "Quiet and Beautiful"
My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this hotel and keep telling everyone how wonderful everything was. It was clean and beautiful. The service was great, the maids were there everyday, the office workers were helpful when we had questions and made us feel at home. It was nice that it wasn't on the main road and it was very quiet. the room was nice and we loved the fireplace in the room and the balcony overlooking the water. staff was friendly. only negative was they ran out of milk and juice at the breakfast so there was food but nothing to drink BOTH MORNINGS so I guess they only keep 1 gallon of each so if you don't get there early, your out of luck!Verifierad gästrecension

"Close to the attractions and stores"
I really loved the view of the creek out of the backdoor but the rooms do need to be rennovated. Overall the Hotel was clean, the rooms were nice and cozy and even had a fireplace which was really nice but the weather was too warm to use it. This hotel needs some MAJOR updating and cleaning. Our room had stains on the carpet and crumbs/skittles on the flloor beside the bed so it obviously was not swept properly. The beds were old, tv was a little 27" (haven't seen one of those in years) and the tv stand, table, etc. were all tattered and looked like they took a beating. "Dated Hotel"

"Charming place with a babbling brook behind it"

Hotel was very beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. The sound of water behind the hotel off the balcony was very relaxing. I enjoyed my stay. "Beautiful creekside balcony"
The Creek was beautiful, and the hotel was within walking distance (or almost) to Gatlinburg main street. Front desk people were very friendly. The biggest problem is that the elevator was not in optimal working order, and the doors closed with a Very disconcerting BANG every time. No other problems with elevator. Even though it didn't sound safe, we […] were never left stranded! ;-) Also, room service only came to our room two times during our 5 day stay there, and one of those times was because we requested it. Very old and needs a serious update. Didn't look like the picture online. No toilet paper when we arrived - had to ask for some. Non-working light fixture. Cleanliness: Smashed bug on the wall - still there after maid service following day. Stained comforter. I had to clean the counters before using them. Table on balcony was filthy. Room definitely NOT clean. Breakfast: Casserole is sliced potatoes with scrambled egg topping […] - completely out when we went to breakfast at 9AM (breakfast served from 8-10AM). Also, out of coffee! Apples were spoiled.
