Hotell Hotel Saffron - Bratislava

Hotel Saffron is great value for the Money. Stayed there for two nights and payed in total approx 90€ which I believe is really cheap for a 4* hotel. The hotel is quite new. The room was modern, clean, comfortable and with good size. A really good buffet breakfast and WiFi was included in the price. The staff were serviceminded and helpfull. Location […] is ok but not the best. On the other hand,nothing is far away in central Bratislava. Most things are within walking distance. It´s a five minutes walk to a downtown pedestrian street and ten minutes walk to Old Town. The busstation with buses to Vienna Airport is a 15 minutes walk away (if you find your way). The only problem is to find the entrance of the hotel the first time you get there. The entrance of the hotel is hidden inside a block and you can´t see the hotel signs unless you come walking from Downtown. Look out for the "Subway" café, walk through the portal next to the café and then you´ll see the hotel. Overall very pleased with Hotel Saffron. Läs mer

Within walking distance from the centre, the hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable for the excellent price offered. The hotel should consider placing better signs for the entrance since it can be a bit tricky to find - it's in a courtyard behind another building. Good breakfast buffet.

Despite advertising this as a 4 star hotel it did not really qualify.The breakfast was a dried up amalgam of egg and strange looking sausage and I had to beg for a cup of percolated coffee either that or pay extra for one. Poorly described on how to get there from the station and inadequate selection on the cable network which was shown through the […] tiniest tv screen imaginable. Thumbs down I am afraid! Läs mer

The hotel was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed one night and enjoyed our day in Bratislava. The hotel was in a good location - about 15 minutes walk to the main sights. Initialy the entrance is not the easiest to find but this only took us a few minutes. The buffet breakfast was good. The room was lovely and the bathroom was luxurious. […] Its a shame we only stayed one night for a whistlestop visit before Vienna and Budapest. This hotel would be at home in Scandinavia such is the quality and style of the building. Free WiFi (did not reach higher floor levels) and free reception computers were nice. Buffet breakfast was plentiful but basic. A selection of cereal, eggs, European sausages, toast, cheeses, hams, salad etc. The dinning room had white cotton tablecloths and looked […] really nice when I came down for breakfast. The hotel is a 15 (20 tops) minute walk from the Old Town or there are ample trams passing by. The first 100/200m is near a college and the rest is pass shops. Tram tickets cost about one Euro and are timed. One or two have said that the hotel entrance is a little hard to find especially at night. This can be easily overcome by looking on Google Earth and printing off an actual view of the area. The Church is very clear and there are entrances on three sides. If you use the tram/bus then look for the Subway take away sign. There is an entrance there. If arriving from the central station or main bus station then it would be possible to walk provided that you have carry-on or light bags. The walk would be too far with large bags. I guess the distance is around 1km but watch the taxis at the above places. The journey should not cost more than a few Euros and my first taxi certainly overcharged me (nothing to do with the hotel of course). If I went back to Bratislava I would be happy to stay here again. Läs mer

Hotel Saffron is a lovely hotel. The staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are well kept and very comfortable. The only minor drawback is that the hotel reception area is practically hidden behind buildings. Even though the hotel has a sign pointing to the entrance you may second guess yourself. At night the surrounding area is very quiet but a short […] taxi trip or tram ride (5 minutes) will take you in the heart of the city where you can find plenty bars and restaurants. L'albergo di recente costruzione, quindi dottato di camere, servizi ed altro in perfette condizioni. Ottimo confort generale, viene fornito accesso internet wifi di buona velocita gratuito. I dipendieti dell'albergo si sono dimostrati disponibili e gentili, non parlano pero l'italiano, come in molti altri alberghi. Ottima colazione composta da uova, […] frittate, affetati vari, frutta e verdura dolci vari, yogurt, burro, marmettate varie, succhi di frutta spemute varie, te caffe, cereali. Obsługa niestety nie mówi po polsku, mimo że na parkingu stało ponad 10 aut z Polski, więcej niż z jakiegokolwiek innego kraju.. pokój codzinnie staranie sprzątany, czysto, cicho i przyjemnie, duże wygodne łóżka, ale w TV tylko kilka programów.. słabe ciśnienie wody w zlewie w łazience co trochę utrudnia mycie, poza tym blisko do centrum i blisko do […] dworca skąd godzina drogi i za kilkanaście euro można jechać do Wiednia, polecam:) Läs mer

O hotel possui um acesso complicado, pois fica no meio de um quarteirão, tendo suas entradas somente para carros, em estacionamento privado. Não tivemos problemas pois verificamos antes, como chegar ao hotel, pelo streetview do googlemaps. O serviço do hotel é razoável. As atendentes são um pouco lentas e no café da manhã, as colheres acabaram e pedimos […] uma colher à funcionária e ela simplesmente não trouxe. Ordentliches Frühstück, aber kaum Abwechslung, gutes Zimmer aber mangelhafte Lüftung im Bad. Die Lage ist gut, ca 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Beginn der Innenstadt.

Το ξενοδοχείο, αν καταφέρεις να το βρείς, γιά να το πλησιάσεις, πρέπει να σηκωθεί μιά μπάρα.Γιά να γίνει αυτό πατάς ενα κουμπάκι .Το κουμπάκι βγάζει ένα εισητήριο γιά το υπαίθριο parking,γιά το οποίο επειδη εισήλθες γιά να κατεβάσεις τις αποσκευές σου,σου ζητάνε να πληρώσεις.

Отель новый, вполне достойный. Но чувствуется, что это бизнес-отель. Не атмосферный, совсем. Хотя довольно комфортные номера, неплохая мебель и сантехника. Завтраки - на уровне. Голодным трудно остаться. Расположение - относительно недалеко от центра, были на машине, поэтому трудно оценить близость к историческому центру в минутах пешим ходом. Das Hotel ist neu und modern. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, und ruhig. Beim Frühstück stellt man sich etwas mehr an Auswahl der Speise.

Oppholdet var veldig bra, betjeningen var hyggelig og kunne engelsk. Hotellet ligger kun 10 minutters gange fra sentrum, og "gamlebyen" hvor det ligger mange koselige kafeer, i tillegg til shopping muligheter i gamle bygg. Handlegaten ligger kun 5 minutter unna. Rett utenfor hotellet ligger det en sushirestaurant og Subway for de som liker sunn hurtigmat. […] Eneste ulempen med hotellet er utsjekkinstiden som er satt til kl 10 på morgenen. Ellers er det gratis trådløst internett over hele hotellet og frokost inkludert i prisen. Betalte i snitt rundt 350 kroner per natt for et dobbeltrom for 2 personer.
