"Mycket prisvärt i bästa läge"

Fungerar mycker bra med WC och dusch i korridorer, det är aldrig kö och de städas i princip hela tiden. Mycket prisvärt hotell. Det enda minuset är möjligen att sängarna är något hårda.

"Room wasn't ready at 6 PM."
Arrived at the hotel at 6 PM, well after check in time. There was a line of people checking in in various states of distress. It appeared their rooms weren't ready and they were upset. I checked in and my room wasn't ready and it was 6 PM. They offered me free breakfast but all I wanted to do was put my stuff in the room and start my evening. I asked […] when the room would be ready and they couldn't tell me. I finally insisted rather forcefully and suddenly a room became available. I suspect this was an effort to not agitate the remaining customers facing similar frustration. Once in the room, it was beautiful and the hotel is very lovely. The hotel was well maintained. The lobby was constantly busy with people checking in and out. The doormen were friendly as were the housekeeping staff...although there was always something that was amiss in the bathroom (from the shampoo to the robe to 1 less towel, etc.). For a family of 4, we had 2 double beds and the size of the room was OK. The location is excellent, since the close to the Grand Central, with a fair amount of good restaurants in the neighborhood. We book the room with 2 beds, nice size, NO BED BUGS, staff was very friendly. If you stay at this hotel, you can rent clothes and shoes to workout for $5 per day. We went up for the Big East Tournmanet so the hotel was within walking distance of MSG and just one block from Grand Cental Station. By check-in time at 3pm, my room wasnt ready yet. The hotel couldnt let me know when it would be ready. When I told them that was not acceptable, the receptionist pointed out that the people behind would face the same problem that the rooms were not ready for them too. That was an insult to my intelligence. So I waites for a few minutes to see if that […] was true, and it wasnt. One guy behind me got his room key though he was later than me. Then I ignored the receptionist and went directly to the concierge, who took my ID card and after a few minutes, came back with a key for my room. So the whole check-in experience was very poor and I felt like a fool and very insulted. The hotel was very nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was awesome. It's right near a lot of bars and restaurants (I recommend stopping at Amaze on 3rd if you like sushi). Stayed at the Westin for an overnight trip to NYC. We were close by to Grand Central Station subways, not a bad walk to Empire State Building or Times Square. We took the train into Grand Central Station, the hotel was so easy to find and we only had to walk 2 blocks. Then We checked in with in a matter of seconds.
