I picked this place for our honeymoon because we purposefully wanted to stay away from the notorious "dirtier" party areas of Phuket with young obnoxious tourists. This place definitely fulfilled that goal. As it was a bit isolated, I wouldn't recommend a long stay here but it was perfect for our purposes. It was difficult to get to from the Phuket […] airport because the taxis there are such con artists and it wasn't in a common area, so I would recommend reserving their airport transfer with a stay here. We were greeted with cool tropical drinks and a small but strong bellhop carried our big suitcases down steep stairs. Our "deluxe pavilion" room was close to the bar/restaurant and pool, and had a small patio. The mosquito net and air conditioning worked well. A couple of small drawbacks: it's not actually on a "beach" but is right on the bay and there are beach chairs in hammocks in the sandy area between the pool and the bay. Also, the breakfast (included in our rate) was not very good except for the bacon which was the best we had in Thailand. Dinner was good and reasonably priced, plus they have a happy hour in the evenings with "buy 1 get 1 free" drinks. Great location to be near Phuket Town, but far enough away that it is isolated and peaceful. Staff was very accomodating and the room/cabana was lovely. There is no walking beach access, but the pool and grounds are lovely.

A disappointing week in a hotel with a one way shuttle ( have never come across that before) so we felt we had no choice but to hire a car. The traffic is terrible on Phuket so it wasn't the stress free holiday we'd hoped for. The shower runs hot one minute, cold the next. The food was average & the traffic noise was constant. Add to that our room was […] right next to reception ( we could even hear the phone ringing) it seems pretty ironic that we were in a remote location which was one of the noisiest hotels I've stayed in. service-good,prompt and helpful (limited english, but ok). Condition of hotel is good, new and fresh looking. when i checked in room was already prepared, air condition on,made up beds,etc where things were supposed to be,except for a little sandy floors.i stayed in beachview with outdoor tub (vulnerable to dirt because of it being outdoor, request […] them to clean first!). biggest issue i believe for some would be the location, Panwa is not exactly Patong or Karon,quite, secluded and far out of reach (not nearby other bigger hotels too, and i would highly encourage renting a car (unless you're staying only in the hotel). breakfast std fare, no dinner tried here. night views are romantic with the walkways and 'au natural' feel. Our local Thai friend referred this hotel to us. We had the best stay and it was much more than we had expected. It was a new hotel and we had one of the sea front villa. It was a bit far away from the busy Phuket night life which we liked. The beach connected right in front of the hotel was not a swim type though. But with the great view ( esp during […] the sunset) and with the swim beach closed by, it didn't bother us much at the end. And, what a great service we had!! Enjoyed it a lot. A l'écart du tourisme de masse, mais dans un coin plutot agréable, nous y avons passé un très bon séjour. Tout le personnel est très sympathique, et la reception tres dévoué pour répondre aux diverses demandes. Le cadre est tres beaux et tres bien entretenu. A la nuit tombé dess lanternes sont allumées et donne un cote magique a cet endroit. Une piscine […] très bien pour jouer avec des enfants, mais aussi pour nager. The hotel is quite far from the airport and everything else. However you can rent motorbikes at the hotel and a taxi station is right across the street. The hotel also offers some shuttle bus service to the nearest beach and phuket town but we never needed it. You'll have no problems getting around even from this remote location. The rooms where clean, […] tastefully decorated and in an overall good condition as the hotel seemed to be fairly new. There was some construction work in progress on the property (new apartments) which was not intruding at all. I'm just mentioning it because they seem to be expanding the area. The pool is in front of the restaurant which wasn't as expensive as it probably could have been. You also get direct access to the ocean but there's no beach or anything inviting you for a swim (yet). Our overall experience was very nice, the staff was very polite and always helpful. Läs mer

Très bel hotel, avec de belles prestations. Le service est de qualité et le personnel est fort sympathique. Cependant l'emplacement de l'hotel est le seul point noir, il est loin de tout.
