Note: Outrigger Phuket Laguna Beach Resort is different than the Outrigger Phuket Villas. This is a review for the Beach Resort. Overall, we had a great... experience. Four of us stayed in two adjoining rooms at the newly renovated Outrigger Phuket Laguna Beach Resort mid March. It had re-opened days before. Facilities were really good quality and management was really friendly and accommodating. There weren't too many guests, so we really got to relax within the hotel's facilities. In fact, between the beach, the pool, the restaurant, and the outdoor lounge beds/sofas, we didn't leave the hotel for the first day of our trip! The hotel is right on Bang Tao beach and has beach chairs and bar service right on the sand, steps away from both the ocean and the hotel pool. The beach was really clean and private, although technically it's part of the larger public beach. The hotel is also part of the Laguna complex, so it was nice to be able to easily shuttle over to Banyan Tree for drinks in the evening. Definitely a great hotel option - located on a great beach next to other good quality hotels and restaurants, and not too far away from other beaches like Surin and good seafood restaurants and nightlife over in Patong.
