"Unexpected Find"

"Very Nice Hotel..."
First time here, very close to downtown Benica, which I didn't know existed. Nice area to eat & walk the streets. Clean & tidy room w/ lots of soft pillows (I like extra pillows) & Hotel was sold out, but I couldn't tell by any noise. Clerk was friendly.The only thing I would have liked better would have been a telephone at the bedside. I saw a phone […] jack there, but no phone. Only one was at the desk across the room. "Okay for overnight stay"
The hotel seemed a bit dated, but it felt secure and was reasonably priced for the Bay Area. There was an odor of smoking in the halls, but it was very faint within our non-smoking room. "What a great BW"

"Workforce dorm?"
Upon arrival at 6 p.m. walked past several men smoking at front door. Turned out they were waiting for their van to pick them up to go to work. We were then told the motel was "sold out" and our request for a top floor could not be honored. I told the young lady that our request was made three weeks prior, so should be honored. An older person stepped […] over and said she could put us on the top floor with a free "upgrade". As our confirmation had said deluxe king, I could not see what upgrade had happened, but we were accommodated with the king room on the third floor. Pool did not open until 10 am next morning, and checkout was at eleven, so we did ask for a later check out, and were accommodated with a noon checkout. "Six Flags Weekend"
I read the reviews prior to my stay and this hotel lived up to the rating. It was by far the cleanist Best Western I have ever seen. It is also conveniently located right off the freeway. "Nice Hotel, Great breakfast"
We one of a few families on summer vacation yet our stay was quiet and comfortable. Our kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The "beach" towels the front office borrowed out for the pool were small and crusty and we were threatened a $10 charge a piece if not brought back! "Friendly Staff, Clean Room, Excellent Service"
This hotel was a bargain for the amenities and services included. The house keeping staff does a very through job of cleaning. In this day and age, who has a waffle machine, sausages and eggs at the complimentary breakfast bar? The breakfast room and the food choices are an added incentive. "Benicia"
The only complaint that we have is the shower head in the bathroom. It is impossible to take a shower without getting your head wet, and no shower caps were provided. "More bang for your buck"
This hotel is located perfectly off of the freeway with easy access to gas and quick bites. The room was clean and newly updated with comfortable bedding. Breakfast was on par with other free continental breakfasts, recommend going for a waffle with the strawberry sauce. "Clean, comfortable and friendly"
Staff are friendly and efficient and accept suggestions cheerfully. I mentioned that one day the towels were not absorbent but that another batch was fine; suggested monitoring the use of fabric softener that leaves a residue that repels water and both employees who heard me said they would make notes. Bed linens were new and very nice. Room was comfortable. […] A too-sweet air freshener was quickly dispelled when I opened the real window and turned on the fan. Coffee pot worked well. "Clean and quiet"
This property is close to the freeway, but must have double-glazed windows because there was absolutely no noise in the room coming from outside.
