Comfort Inn Airport

The room was in very good condition. It had a great, very large TV. The bathroom was too small and the heating system was kind of dated.

Pretty good for the price and convenience to the airport. Shuttle service is a mixed bag. We stayed at start and end of trip. Good experience with shuttle between hotel and Portland transportation center (bus and Amtrak), and to the airport on the way out. But major fail on the return from airport to hotel. Their regular shuttle driver was off, so they had partnered with another hotel, only clerk didn't tell us to look for other hotel's shuttle, and though we had specifically called to be picked up, the shuttle driver didn't bother to give a shout out to the people standing their waiting in the freezing cold. We had to call back more than once, and we evidently missed the shuttle more than once because we didn't know it would be another hotel's shuttle. Took nearly an hour to get a ride to a hotel that was 3 minutes drive away. Beware, and ask what he shuttle looks like and what brand it will be labeled with. Don't assume.

Clean room and friendly and helpful staff. 24/7 coffee and hot and cold water was a great touch, as was the soup that was available at night. Slept past breakfast almost every night but the one time I went it was standard fare. Only gripe was the internet sometimes turned inconsistent and slow. Otherwise, incredible value and great stay!
