Winter Haven, Autograph Collection

Hotel is in a great location - short walk to the beach. It is in south beach but away from the main south beach noise which is further south. Staff was great and friendly. The welcome glass of champagne was an added bonus. The rooms were very clean but definitely on the smaller side. Near to a lot of good restaurants and grocery stores 2 blocks away.

Great hotel! Easy valet parking. Rooms very clean and large. Bathroom a little small but that’s ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the air conditioner in the room was really loud. Every time it cut on it was very loud. But other than that it was a wonderful experience!

Very fun and classic hotel right in middle of miami beach. Fun atmosphere around the hotel and beach. Hotel has a retro but modern vibe to it, I would definitely stay here again

The team at Winter Haven made us feel like royalty! Anything we needed, they provided quickly and with a smile. The resort fee was worth every penny as we enjoyed the bikes, beach, and amenities. The room is small, but clean and comfortable. Last, but not least, il bolognese (restaurants at the hotel) was organic and AMAZING! The location couldn’t be beat as it was just north of loud clubs and across the street from the beach. Overall we had a great time and highly recommend it!

Friendly Staff, but Helpful? The staff tries hard to be friendly but there is no substitute for conscientious knowledge of the hotel and its services. Some hospitality training would help with this. No airport shuttle is provided and no options were given on the phone, I asked about Waverunner rental and a desk person only looked up from their screen long enough tell me there were 2 locations on the beach, neither of which I found and I suspect he just made them up because he looked like a newly promoted bellboy or maintenance man, who knows. I was not told there was a rooftop terrace until my 6th day. Food was good. Shampoo was nice.
