This was our 1st trip to DC and wanted to stay close to the National Mall and this was just a short walk to the National Air & Space Museum. The Metro is a short walk. The photos of the hotel are exactly what you will see. We visited the rooftop bar and the bar/food stop on the main floor. Both good.
The room was just right for us. It does come with a refrigerator but no microwave, Kuerig or any way to make hot tea or coffee. The refrig was in a drawer and had no coldness at all. We called the front desk and was told that there was nothing we needed to do to make it work. It just does not keep things cold basically room temperature. We were fortunate to have a small cooler along that we were able to get ice from the hotel staff to keep our waters, soda, yogurt, fruit cold.
There is an IPad in the room that you can control the TV, temp etc from. The bed was just ok for us-too hard. Pillows were great though. There are automatic window shades- a day one and one for night. The night shade blocked out all light and was fantastic. The one morning we slept in until after 9am!
The bathroom had a rainfall shower head and also a more regular one. There was shower gel/shampoo provided, liquid hand soap, hairdryer.
The hotel staff were always very helpful and attentive to our needs/requests.
The hotel does not have parking of their own but there is close paid parking garages. We were fortunate to snag a spot on the street bordering the property which is free 24 hr parking.
