Awesone location!
Northern lights is kind of a dated Lodge. That being said it is quaint. The daily buffet breakfast was delicious! Love that the bike path is near.....Natures scenery is spectacular, location is awesome!

Beautiful Setting on the Rivre
Beautiful setting on the river. We had a housekeeping unit and had a minor problem which was fixed immediately. Thanks Mike! The bed was comfortable, everything was clean. I suspect this is an older lodge, but kept in good condition. Loved the little extras; fresh cookies in the lobby, tissues next to your bed and a fantastic breakfast! We enjoyed our stay.

Great value, excellent breakfast!
Great last minute deal for a budget room. Mike is one of the inkeepers who greeted up at check in. Very friendly and helpful. Room was dated but clean, which is all we expect for a budget room. The free breakfast was unexpected, and was excellent. Eggs, french toast, sausage, potatoes,muffins, scones, coffee and juice.

Surprise find in Stowe, Vermont
I was concerned after reading some of the reviews but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The lodge is very clean, the room and bath were spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast couldn’t have been better. There was a large selection and it was all hot and very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. It was a quick check in and the rooms were easily accessible. Considering some of the room prices in Stowe, this inn was a great value.
