Best Western Plus Liverpool - Syracuse Inn & Suites

Best Western Plus – 136 Transistor Parkway, Liverpool, NY 13088 1. Problems checking in: Entered around 4:45 – No one on the desk. I hollered “anyone here” – no response. I hollered again – no response. I pounded on the office door – no response. I shouted at the top of my lungs – finally the desk clerk came waddling down to help. She told me she was helping someone. DEFINITELY A SIGN OF UNDERSTAFFING. Best Western MINUS.  2. Come to our room. Good condition except the washroom is definitely antique.  3. Look for glasses for beverage. No glasses available. I could just see coffee cups. I went down to the desk again. Was told there were some cheap plastic cups somewhere in the room. I said to her, this is supposed to be a Best Western Plus – This is like a Best Western MINUS.  4. Tried to get the internet to work. I was given a password, but not a username. Back to the desk again. I had to wait while the sole desk clerk was helping another customer. She told him that she would tell him the internet info. She wrote on his card, like she did on ours, the wi-if password. Unfortunately, one has to have an id as well. He will probably be back as well. When she was finished with him, she told me that it was the same. Certainly getting my exercise, as our room is quite a distance away from the desk. Great for septuagenarians. Best Western MINUS  MUCH more to add. Not enought room given. This was a HORRIBLE stay. Not worth the money.

Not bad overall. Breakfast not bad. Room overall clean. But no microwave in room. No freezer door in fridge. Hallway smelled a bit. Hair strands left in shower. Worker took smoke break right outside exit door.

Hotel was nice, staff was friendly. Would have been nice to have hot water for showers though.

Had to wait for check in. Nobody was at front desk. Recent renovations have definitely made this place a more desirable place to stay.

Good hotel and clean and very friendly great service from the staff. Good breakfast and pool and rooms are comfortable and clean. Would stay again my only issue is the toilets seem to not flush all the way or something they said they were having some plumbing issues and it was getting fixed but last time I stayed there exact same time last year same issues. But it really isn't s big deal good price for a nicer hotel then most the other hotels that are a dump would go to this one again.
