Hôtel Berlioz

I had a quiet but memorable 5 days in Lyon. The hotel staffs were friendly and very helpful. It’s location is the best, right next to Lyon Perrache train station. My room was small but it was lovely to go back to a warm cozy room after hours of walking and discovering old Lyon. If I were to visit Lyon again in the future, which I am hoping to, I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Very good location. About 10 minutes walk from the largest square in Europe. Yes, the shower sure is small, but it worked well. The room is also quite small, but it is an older building in an old city. The elevator barely fits 2. It also worked well. The breakfast, which is extra, has a fair choice of cold items:3 meats, several cheeses, fruit, cereal, juices, good croissants and other breads, and a big coffee machine that makes several different styles. Lots of restaurants and a couple supermarkets in the area. Also an easy walk to a huge shopping centre, Confluence. The hotel's directions on their website were very good.

Can't say anything negative except that the size of the room and bathroom were ridiculously small. Also, there was the tiniest elevator I've ever used in my entire life. And I have traveled to 30+ countries...

We booked the room for one overnight stay in Lyon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite simple but clean and with a good bathroom so plenty comfortable for our short stay.
