Baymont Inn & Suites Grand Rapids Airport

This is an okay hotel. It's not in a fancy part of town, but it's not scary. In retrospect I probably would have spent an extra $40 or so to put myself in a better place and filter out the college road trippers wandering around the lobby at 2:30 am. Very nice staff though.

It was very nice. Hotel had great service.

Good stay for the weekend for an AAU tournament. Other than hearing people in other rooms or in the halls due to maybe thin walls, the stay was of suffice for a day/night.

We left, and did not stay there after assessing the property. The hotel was filthy, the elevator filthy, the carpets not vacuumed, and the room was awful in terms of cleanliness and dust. We refused to stay, and asked for our money back. That was another story. The manager was very pleasant, but she did not question why we wanted to leave. I think she was embarrassed about the property as well.

Employees were A+, the bed was comfortable and blankets were warm, I like a cold room and warm blankets, don’t always get this, but the room was small and old. There was evidence of the removal of 2 pictures over the beds. The hangers were evident along with a gray dirty looking frame around a cleaner wall. Over the tub/shower insert it looks like a messy recaulk was done. Yellow walls with white smears all around insert. Leaving the room to eat as we closed the door a loud bang startled us and reopening we discovered the emergency evacuation door sign had fallen from the door. Bathroom gave me claustrophobia and the towels, with multiple use, would have rubbed me raw.
