hotel is located near Plaza de Espana (short walk from metro station), large size room & bathroom, good size comfortable beds, A/C & WiFi worked fine, small kitchenette incl microwave, fridge, water boiler was very convenient. Weird distribution of space in the room, the TV is hung next to the kitchen area, away from the beds. Sink in the bathroom was tiny even though there was plenty of space. Staff at the desk were attentive n helpful, breakfast buffet was good with a variety of choices, hot n cold foods. Overall a good choice of hotel outside the very touristy areas in Madrid (which we appreciated)

Hotel was nice. Location was great too. But security was bad. My friends who was also traveling with us lost their backpack from the front lobby of the hotel right after breakfast when we were preparing to go out for sightseeing. The front desk attendant was right there and she didn’t even noticed when two random ladies came in the lobby and grab my friends backpack which he left on the sofa for 30 sec. There were three cameras in the lobby. So when we reported them the hotel administration showed us the video. That’s so scary that people can just walk in. He lost his passports and other belongings. We went through so much trouble making the new passports but thank God for U.S embassy they made the temporary passports in two hours and saved us further trouble since we had to travel to other cites the next day. The hotel administration didn’t do anything for us. No police report no apologies nothing. Instead they said that we need to go ourselves to the police station to file a report. We didn’t have time to do that in a new city.

Great location. Because off the many other reviews about spacious suites, we were surprised how small our triple room was--our fault, probably, in not reserving a larger room. Location was fine and breakfast was nice and quite reasonably priced. The daytime staff was enthusiastic and helpful, particularly the young woman with very short hair.
