Suite Opera Rooms

Second stay at Hotel Opera Roma. Great location..walking distance to Termini and all well-known sight-seeing stops...Trevi Fountain, the Collosseum, The Spansish Steps. Many good restaurants and shopping within a blocks walk. The breakfast could use improvement but its sufficient if you need a very fast bite before you're off exploring. If you're looking for luxury, this is not your place but if you're looking for a comfortable place with easy access to the city offerings, Hotel Opera Roma is a great choice.

הינו עם בעלי במשך ארבעה ימים במהלך כריסטמס. הנהלת המלון ממש נחמדה ונענתה לבקשותינו הרבות.החדר היה נעים ומרווח והחימום עבד נהדר (חשוב בעונה הזאת). ארוחת הבוקר, אפילו שלא היתה מאד מגוונת, היתה טעימה ומשביעה. המיקום המרכזי עזר מאד. 3 דקות הליכה לתחנות האוטובוס השונות וכ 30 שעה הליכה לכל המוניומנטים המרכזיים

The hotel is in a great location and close to all amenities. The staff are kind, we asked to change our room upon check-in and they gave us another one like we wanted. The overall experience was great.

We loved the location of this property!!! Wonderful breakfast that was included with plenty of options, close to absolutely everything and the staff was always super friendly and willing to help call taxis and referring restaurants etc.

Everyone was lovely, breakfast good, bed was a little hard for our tastes but okay. Great location.

Great location with so many sights within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff and the room was clean and comfortable but a bit in the small side for three people. I would go back but only with 1 or 2 in a room.

Upon arrival at the hotel for check in, they advised that we had been moved to their “main building” over the road. This main building was another hotel-Hotel Sonya. The hotel we got moved to would not deserve any more than 2 stars. We got placed into a room with no air conditioning (we always book hotels with air con, especially in summer) when we asked to move to a room with working air con, they moved us to a room with a king single bed and for 1 person. This hotel was like faulty towers, the door handles were falling off the elevator doors and the rooms stunk of mould. Do not book!

Although this property was difficult to find, ( we passed it 3 times), that is not our complaint. Pros 1. Giorgia - front desk receptionist. stored our luggage bc we arrived early and ultimately brought it to our room for us. 2. Angela - Barista made awesome cappuccinos 3. Breakfast room was lovely - small but nicely decorated 4. Breakfast had a great selection of items - soufflé , ham & cheese, pastries, bread etc Cons 1. FRAUDULENT REPRESENTATION OF ROOMS. The room pictured as our room was NOT the room we got! It was very small and less than basic. Bathroom had leaky shower and was smaller than a bathroom on a cruise ship. 2. Upon check out I told this to the front desk clerk and she said their website was under repair. I told her that I would give them until I got home to fix it IT IS NOT FIXED ( 3 WEEKS). When I looked back at reviews I noticed a few other people said the same thing. This is the only time I have had this experience with ORBITZ.. I booked a six week trip in Australia and this trip to Rome and Athens and this has been my only disappointment. ORBITZ - TAKE THIS PROPERTY FROM YOUR LISTING, PLEASE. .

the staff at the hotel were very nice and very helpful; the location was good (very close to the train station and lots of places to eat
