Crowne Plaza Festival City

It is a very good hotel but on the more expensive side.

First time in this property after many trips to Dubai. Nice place. Connected to the Intercontinental and the Mall without going outside. Near enough to the airport that you don't feel like you have to move to an airport hotel your last night for an early AM departure, but not at the airport either. Lots of great food choices between the two IHG properties and the Mall, from fine dining to fast food and everything in between. Nice fitness facility, nice pool. Several places to get a drink too if you so desire. I'd probably stay again, but there are lots of nice choices in Dubai. I'd say the price is "mid-range", but that's not taking into account the really high end. 100% recommended, nothing bad to say.

I made a booking for a night and due to unforeseen circumstances had to cancel just 20 mn after the booking was made .hotel.com tried contacting the property for several times and said to wait the next day the manager to waive off since the reservation as unfortunately is non refundable. This is not 5 stars services to start with as supposedly manager or duty manager should be empower and not wait the next day for such situation. The next day They spoke with the front desk and was advised that the they need to stick to their cancellation policy since there were only few rooms on a promotional rate. They even tried to negotiate credits for future date stay but the hotel fermly decline . The took my money without staying and worst did not provide at least alternative for future stay and said next day to be sorted which is not the case. Hotel.com tried to explain all they can and hôtel did not want to hear. So kindly stay away to this hotel they are not empathize and just care about revenue without offering world classe services. I ll raise the complain to IHG, it is a shame how they treat customer.

We have stay here before. Rooms are large, airy and clean. We had an issue with the a/c it wouldn’t turn off once it got to the right temperature so we had to turn it off then when it got hit back on to cool the room again. It was too late at night to call maintenance.
