Hôtel Pastel Paris

We were overall very happy with our stay here. I really loved the design/decor of this hotel. The room was small (as expected in Paris), but I was impressed by how many amenities they were able to fit without it feeling crowded. The bed was very comfy as well. The location of the hotel was conveniently close to a metro station and was within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and lots of restaurants. My only complaint is with the room key system. We didn't feel completely comfortable with leaving our key at the front desk every time we left because when asking for our key back there was no security check that it was actually our room number. I would expect the hotel to ask for an ID before giving us our key back, or at the least asking for the name on the reservation. With this system, it would be very easy for a stranger to get into our room. Especially because the person at the front desk was different every day and even at different times of day. If you don't want to change the key system I would recommend putting small safes in each room.

Excellent. Great location, staff helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and room very clean. Would stay here again.

The guy on reception was friendly and welcoming and keen to explain the local area and provide a city map if I wanted one. My room was on the third floor and was clean and comfortable, albeit the room was small. The bathroom would have benefitted from a shower screen or curtain as there was a shower over the very short and narrow bath. The room was fairly quiet although an alarm went off for a short time in a building opposite and the rubbish collectors woke me around 6.30am with the noise of emptying bins... Like rooms in most capital cities this was expensive for what you get but then it's within sight of the Eiffel Tower and a short walk from the Arc de Triumph so what would I expect!

Great location and friendly staff

Well located for Eiffel Tower and Arc DeTriomphe and close to Metro Station so easy to get around. Pleasant room and pretty quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
