Holiday Inn Express & Suites Guthrie

We travel with 2 dogs.Hotel.com made the reservation. This hotel does not accept animals so we had to find another hotel. I had trouble letting Hotel.com know.

Stopped over on my way home from Colorado.

Paid for a "family suite" which said included 2 rooms, 3 queen beds and a sofa bed. Get there, the first room we recieved, they couldnt get the door opened. So we were reassigned another room. Get to the room and it only had 2 beds. Clerk said this smaller room was considered a family suite. Then wanted me to pay the price of a big room for the smaller one. When i booked the room there was absolutely no advertisement of facilities being closed down. All around i say false advertisement. I will not stay there again.

Very outdated, old and uncomfortable mattress, not sure the place has ever been cleaned. Highly disappointed, will think twice before choosing Holiday Inn Express.

Staff was very friendly, but we saw 3 rooms before deciding on the cleanest of the 3. The curtain were ripped and none of the beds were made the way a normal hotel makes the bed. Sheets were just half assed thrown on. Stains on all the chairs And couches. Even our lamp had a blood stain on it. We had the front desk remove it. Floors weren’t even vacuumed

Sadly they had problems with the tv cable company. We were there three nights with no TV. The first two mornings they had no hot water. The carpet was disgusting.

They switched rooms on us

There was only one staff member on duty and he could not answer any questions. We checked in on a Sunday night and checked out a day early on Thursday due to the conditions of the property. Our room was not cleaned one time during our stay and no one brought us clean towels or took the dirty towels out of our room. I spoke to the desk clerk on our second night there and he told me he would let housekeeping know to come by our room and they never did. I went down on the third night to get my own towels and again asked for someone to clean the room and again it was not touched. I did speak with the manager on our final day and he again was not helpful at all. There was no coffee in the rooms as advertised as they stated they were out of coffee!! Very poor service and not clean at all. I would not recommend this Holiday Inn Express to anyone.

There was a booger in the sheets as well as blood stains on the sheets.There was also hair in the bed. The room was musty and damp. Food that was provided in paper sacks for breakfast was expired.

The hotel is not taken care of well. Grass was tall when we checked in and was 2 weeks before they mowed it and they did not blow the sidewalks off afterwards. The lawnmower sat on a trailer under the covered entry at the front door the entire 3 weeks we were there. There was only one luggage trolley and it has flat tires and was impossible to push. The floors are extremely thin and provided little or no buffer from the noise the upstairs neighbors make. We wide probably stay there again but will definitely request a room on the top floor. The feral kitties were the best part of our stay. They enjoy our food scraps
