Not the luxury I had expected

Not sure how to phrase it, but I had expected that it would be more luxurious and feel like a treat to myself. But it was just quite plain? Bed was comfy and I got an upgrade of my room which was nice but the room service food was not good at all, the wellness section very small with just two saunas and strange plastic chairs (also suited in a dark basement), there was stuff missing from my room (bottle opener, and some bathroom items), furniture (leather sofa) stained, and other glitches that didn’t make it feel luxurious at all. Guess I should have done better research. If you get a decent price and are prepared for this to be a mediocre hotel, you shouldn’t hesitate. Location is good. But if you wanna spoil yourself, this is not the right place.

Overrated and overpriced

Honestly don’t know what you pay for. The name? So overrated and overpriced. Not very clean in the room, with a lot of stains on the furniture, crack on the toilet seat (I think you can afford to change it). And dusty. Half the price and I wouldn’t complain.

Trevligt hotel men kanske inte riktigt vår stil. Vill du ha berlin är detta nog inte för dig men gillar du hela paketet med underhållning osv är detta mer ditt.

Okej

Det är ett fantastiskt hotell. Lite för lite information vart de s.k rummen finns. Ex kareoke rummet. Ville få bytta handdukar något de missa helt. Verkligen extremt rosa. Var inte helt nöjd för de priserna .

Bugs in our room!!

We stayed in 248 and we had several earwigs in our room which we pointed out but we where not able to change room. We really liked the hotel and atmosphere but this truly made a big impact on our experience. Discusting!!

We like the location of the hotel, close to the Spree and Friedrichshain as well. We have stayed there on a couple of occasions already and returned for a night on the way through Berlin. Room decor is quirky as usual, quite classy, with beds on the firm side but very comfortable. This time around we tried the spa and sauna, which was very pleasant and very modern. Definitely worth a visit. The bar still serve interesting cocktails and the interior design is both crazy and elegant. We felt that the reception was understaffed, but the people who were there were very helpful and pleasant when taking care of our needs. A slight minus was the level of the music in the bar, which made it difficult to have a conversation, but for a hotel with a music theme, that is to be expected. We recommend the hotel gladly to anyone with a taste for the slightly unusual. We'll be back.
