Please be mindful when booking if your unsure of negotiating step stairs, as this is the case if you are allocated the Johan room. The bed is located in the mezzanine level of this room. The sofa bed is a tad worn - ok for sitting on but not so much to sleep in. It would also mean a smaller living space to use the bathroom or kitchen if the sofa bed was used. Bijou & compact sums it up for this room.

Although not having carpeted flooring, the staff were understanding as my daughter lost her passport along with the keys. Be sure to not lose your key though! It takes circa 30min to get someone to open your door, and there’s not always someone at the reception!

After flying in from airport, our Uber dropped us off at front wall and gate. We repeatedly pushed button with no one replying. This was at 11:30 am. We knocked and tried calling the phone number on our reservation that told us it was not in service. After 20-30 mins. someone walked out the gate and we were able to get into the outdoor space. Saw what looked like a shed which was the office. We checked in and left bags. Our reservation said we could get our room at 3. The office person said not until 5. We were able to get the code for the gate at least so we could leave and go about our day in Paris. Came back around 9pm and were able to get key for room and get unpacked and showered. Had a very early flight the next morning and left at 05:30. No one in shed/office to check out with and give key, so we just left key in room. In addition, this area of Paris was not near as nice as where we had stayed earlier in the month, and yet the price for what we got was too high. We ended up taking an Uber to go back to another central part of the city where we had previously stayed. Very disappointing!!

The place in itself is ok, the area great. But the management there is terrible. I booked 2 breakfasts when I checked-in for 8.00am with the receptionist. The day after, they never came... I called them up and the call is redirected to a call center to someone who is not in the premises... Breakfast came finally one hour and a half after... Good thing I was not coming for business... Also, when we chekced_in, the receptionist assured us that sheets and blankets where in the room for the bed-couch. When we came back to the room after dinner, we found out that there was no blanket... And the reception closes at 22.00... Impossible to reach them to ask for one... I think future guests should know about it.
