Nice training facility in the middle of Phuket. Very good service and nice training facilities. Some free clinics and classes included. I played tennis. For all and pros. Not much to do outside and nearby resort but shuttle to beach every day. Overall very good but maybe not if you are on a tight budget. Recommended for chill, excellent service, healty food and inspiring training on all levels.

Var här i sex dagar och det regnade nästan hela tiden. Läget i bergen är inte gynnsamt under Juni månad när det är regnperiod. Rummet var helt ok men stenhårda smala sängar. Själva träningsanläggningen är bra men inte så fantastisk som beskrivs av framförallt hotellet själva. Läget är inte bra då det är långt till allt. En annan nackdel med just detta är att det begränsade utbudet av restauranger gör att de kan ta vilka priser de vill, lika med dyrt! Kostar lika mycket att äta här som hemma i Sverige och det känns inte ok när man befinner sig i Thailand! Maten är heller inte något märkvärdigt och är internationellt anpassad. Inte vidare bra om man är ute efter genuin thaimat. Är man här för länge så är risken mycket stor att man tröttnar rejält på maten. Frukosten är dock bra med mycket att välja på med reservation för kaffet som var den mest motbjudande sörja jag druckit på mycket länge. Den som bokar här bör vara helt inriktad på träning då det inte finns någonting annat att göra här!

This hotel have is fully equipped but for a sports hotel, the gym is considered small, track is dated cause there are some pot holes on it, tennis court is ok, pool table is terribly misused, swimming pool is super freezing cold and classrooms are good. Rooms are clean but a bit dated, no bath tubs even for pool facing units. Nothing to see or eat outside the hotel, food is a bit overly priced, but presentation is good. Buffet lunch n dinner, could have changed alittle each day, but filled only w carbs n nothing much, desert is pathetic and not tasty at all. Be ready to spend alot on food if u dont intend to go out at all. Classes that they provide could have been better, only hiit, yoga, spin. So staying there for 10 days can be draggy, the only time we enjoyed are our morning runs, out in the open plantation fields. The AC system in the rooms really need an overhaul, there is a musty sweaty smell in the room itself during the day, we have to turn off the AC in order not to smell the pungeant smell, it smells like urine left over night. Cleaning staff were really nice, so are the dining staff. receptions are friendly too. Pls consider renting ur car before u reached phuket cause we had prob renting at the airport. There r flickering lights in the cabinets but since we r not using it. we choose to ignore it. TV Channels are better than other hotels, but mostly in THai even for the kids channel. I'm surprised no discounts given to hotel guest for food.

he Thanyapura Sports Hotel is the gateway to a fantastic facility. I came here to train and it was an exercise junkies paradise. The pool is fantastic, the water sparkling and clean. There are two very well equipped gyms adjacent to the pool and for some cross training there is the athletics track as well. There is also an enormous range of dry land classes which do not cost extra as they are included in the accommodation package. I will certainly be returning. The restaurant serves a fantastic buffet style breakfast and dinner can be either a la carte or buffet. There was always plenty of fresh salads and fresh fruit to incorporate into any athletes dietary requirements. I arrived healthily sceptical and left a fan of the hotel and sports facilities. There was easy access to sports massage services and even ice baths to assist in post training recovery. I'll be back and will be trying to bring a few more with me.

My wife and I chose this hotel specifically for the tennis program they offer. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip where we've got what we were looking for essentially. We are two tennis lovers that were seeking to improve certain parts of our games/skills and the tennis program Thanyapura offers was the major selling point of the hotel. The hotel complex itself has a variety of option for different types of athletes (i.e. swimmers, cyclers, cross fitters, etc.) and the sports facility are top-notch. There are also variety of classes in swimming/muay thai/tennis/yoga/weightlifting that accommodate even for the beginner-levels. Although the hotel is very clean and things could be arranged very efficiently most of the times, there were small drawbacks that could easily leave an adverse impression against the hotel. For example, our pre-arranged pick-up at the airport was quite late and we had to wait for the pick-up manager for 30 mins at the exit gate. It didn't help that the guy point blankly lied to us that he was at another gate for all that time when in fact I have checked the whole airport to check if anyone was there with the sign board of the hotel. When we talked about this at the reception, there weren't much of an adequate respond to our concern. It's a great place for tennis players with great quality coaches and facilities. We are thinking about paying a visit again in a year or so.
