A classic hotell in good location
Good location, classic old hotell, big room, noisy fan and A/C and a little slow hot water in the shower. Problematic with Internet access specifically in my room, otherwise ok with wifi access. Very friendly and helpful staff! Good basic breakfast included in price!

Good, but could be better.
The building is old, which is beautiful, but with that the amenities are dated and walls are thin. We could hear our neighbors almost all night. Additionally there was some water damage in our bathroom area that you could see on the walls. The bed was extra firm, which some people may not find comfortable.

Beautiful Historic downtown hotel
Beautiful old (1926) classic hotel!! Well maintained and ornate. Perfectly located in downtown. I would stay there every time I go back to Tampa.

Needs updating and free parking!
The view from our room (1515) was a nice view of the city of Tampa, the room was also more spacious than I had anticipated. When we arrived the room smelled like mildew and was warm. We were headed to a concert that night so we turned the AC down to try and cool off the room. We returned from our concert at 11:30 pm and the room was warm. We attempted to call the front desk and got no answer. The parking also was NOT included in the rate for the hotel ($28/night). The parking is limited on the same block of the hotel, overflow is across a the street and a homeless camp is in between the parking lot and hotel. The hotel staff did remove the charges for the parking after learning that we had no AC on our stay. Not sure I would be staying here again. The bar/restaurant attached to the lobby had good food and drink specials.
