Piazza del Gesù Luxury Suites

This a great boutique hotel near many famous sites- the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain are very close. We walked a little further to the Borghese, Coliseum, and St. Peter’s Square. The beds were great and the rooms clean as well as fashionable. We surprised the staff (poor planning on our part) with an additional guest who we hadn’t reserved, and they were very accommodating. Take a minute and go into the church across the street- quite an interior to observe! There is a grocery store a few steps away for less expensive drinks and snacks than convenience stores meant for tourists. It is a little confusing (for an American expecting a typical hotel lobby!) to find the door from the street- no sign other than the listing on the doorbell on the building. Prepare to walk up a flight of stairs to the lobby- it might have been a problem if my parents had joined us on the trip.

Piazza del Gesu was a wonderful way to experience Rome! It is within walking distance to almost anything you want to do and see, and it is incredibly comfortable. Yes, the office hours are very short, but if you know that in advance and set up check-in details early, it will be a smooth process. This was the best value for our money on our whole vacation!

Rome was the first stop of many on our Italian trip. It was a bit hard to find the hotel, but once you did, it was such a unique experience. The room was very nice and clean and the bathroom was large. The only complaint was that the walls were SO thin. We could hear the couple in the room next to us yelling all day/night. If noise is a problem for you, I don't recommend this property. The bed was so comfy though, and the location was great for everything we wanted to do.

Great location in central Rome. Amazing room with really high ceilings give a sense of history and atmosphere. Very good service from reception although they are only open until mid afternoon.

This hotel is in a amazing location, you can walk to all big attractions within 10-15 mins, local shops and many restaurants. Rooms are very clean and they an amazing expresso machines for your morning coffee. Reception staff are very helpful with check in and directions. The only negative is trying to find the door to the hotel, after you come in from the main door, it is very confusing, we went up and down several times trying to find the reception, with suitcases this very very stressfull. I would strongly recommend the hotel place larger clear signs on the ground level and on the door to reception. Thanks
