ARK Hotel - Dongmen

The hotel was nice and clean. The room though a little bit small was also clean and comfortable however, the staff were not that approachable and friendly. The location is perfect and is very near the train station.

The hotel is located in a nice area. The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast is nothing fancy, usually Chinese style stuffed rice burrito or sandwiches delivered by caterer.

The only thing that made the stay not as pleasant was due to the construction they were having on each floor. It would have been nice and smarter for them to do their carpet construction earlier instead of during their busiest season. Overall the room condition was fine and the cleaning staff were very nice.

The front desk staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is closed to all things we wanted do. Except the room is smaller than we expected. The room supposed to have a window. But didn’t noticed. We maybe overlooked.

The relatively young staff follow management rules to the book. I agree they need to hold their standards of operation, but also people's needs vary, it is impossible to spell out all possibility in the book. After all, hotel is a service oriented business, a small favor to the customer carries a long way
