Mama Shelter Lyon

Beautiful modern hotel.5 minute walk to train/trolley station. Lots of good pastries and eateries close by. Very safe, you need a room key to access the elevator. Also has 24hr security.

A convenient location and friendly staff but missing some things for the price. The breakfast could be considerably improved, a bedside light would be good, room temperature difficult to sort and was therefore too hot or cold and the busy bar/restaurant lacked a slightly quieter space.

I didn't know what to expect with this hotel as i am a sucker for loyalty towards brands. I was amazed with everything during my staff, friendly check-in agent. room is clean and up to date with tech. Great selection of movies to watch. A retro breakfast place with good options for a French hotel. I would recommend and stay here again. One this to improve would be to place a signage on the building as it is difficult to identify the hotel

This is a great quirky little find outside of central Lyon. The staff were some the best I've ever experienced in hotels, they were exceedingly freidnly and helpful. Even the security guard on the door was so polite. This is a great middle point between the main train station in Lyon and central island of Lyon. We walked every day from the hotel and enjoyed it. The bar was great and the staff/decor were tip top.

A really funky hotel, some way from the city centre. Design focussed and trendy, but lacking a few basics - no drawers at all to put clothes, no tissues in the room... In quite a nice part of Lyon but quite far from the main tourist attractions. Air conditioning did not work well.
