Dunmuir Hotel

Had a lovely 1 night stay here. Great food too. Service was excellent. We paid extra for a nice room and it was well worth it. We were in the Yosemite and it was lovely, comfy big bed. The only downside for me was that it was dog friendly. But I'm just not a dog lover. Overall, fantastic stay 😀

I had to spend one night in Dunbar on business, and hoped this hotel would be suitable. It is the sort of hotel which you remember from childhood holidays years ago. Rooms are in a semi basement, which makes them dark. Not helped by purple walls. Also very small, mostly taken up by a double bed. I wasn't optimistic about cleanliness, when my first greeting was from a large dog bounding up to me. Needless to say I didn't eat there. Dunbar is a lovely place which has done a lot to encourage visitors - its standard of hotel needs to improve also.

Fantastic staff who were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Will be returning for a family stay soon. Excellent food and very friendly atmosphere.

Booked for Valentines Day, and booked meal in Restaurant, my partner was over the moon about the whole trip!!!! Money well spent, will do it again
