Maison Evelina

Maison Evelina was a fabulous residence only 2 minutes walk from the Spanish steps. With lovely modern interior and decor we had a deluxe suite with 2 large rooms and great facilities, ie minibar, kettle, safe, large tv's, queen bed in one room and 2 singles in other, twin sinks in bathroom as well as shower etc and free tolietries. The breakfast was a varied hot and cold buffet, cereals, yoghurt, cakes, ham, cheese, olives, pancakes, fried/scrambled eggs made upon request etc - fabulous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Around the area were shops, restaurants etc as close to Spanish steps where the metro station is convenient for getting around. All in all a great place to stay. Thank you

This place is no "Ten", no I would definitely rate this a "Twelve"! Where do I start....well, the location cannot be beat, it is on an elegant street with some fine dining and the finest upscale shopping. Two streets over you can find "Outlet" stores and there are large Plazas at both ends of this street. Upon our early arrival we were shown directly to our room, which at 11:30 in the morning could not have been ready, in order to leave our luggage. What a help that was. We met Janet & Alexandra who spoke English and Spanish fluently. The room was comfortable, spacious and felt like an apartment as it was so well laid out and well appointed. It was recently designed and remodeled by the husband of Alessandra, the owner. Easy access with the Door Code, it is simple and the same downstairs as upstairs, only one to remember! Small but adequate elevator eliminated the need to carry luggage up any steps. Rock solid and lightning fast WiFi, even had Netflix already so I did not need to connect my HDMI cable. Janet cooked us a fantastic breakfast that was done to perfection. We needed to ship and our sweet front desk manager helped us with directions and information to the Mailboxes Etc.store. Everybody here was beautiful and sweet, we truly felt as if we were at home :-) Thanks to all of you, see you on our next visit......

I read all the reviews before booking and our family of four stayed comfortably in one of the suite. The biggest surprise is the huge bath room, I mean huge compared to other hotels we stayed in Italy. AC was strong and the beds were comfy, the included breakfast had limited items but it served our purpose. The location is great and close to all the major attractions. The hotel offers transportation to and from FCO but it costs a little more, I recommend you book through Welcome Pickups which is only 48 euros same as official Rome taxi rate.

Everything was wonderful, but we would have liked a mirror in the bedroom area because the only mirror was in the bathroom and it made getting ready difficult if someone was taking a shower.

Perfect location The property manager Alicia is so kind and went out of her way to help.
