Budget Apartment

The place is to in a non affluent area, but I never felt uncomfortable walking around to get into town and back. The room however, was well furnished and clean. The beds were confortable and the room had a nice view of the tower behind the property that was lit up nicely at night. The common area had a bench with helpful brochures and a kitchen that I didn't have much use for. The shower and restroom were separated but they were very clean and I felt comfortable using them. They have someone clean them every morning. Our host welcomed us and let us know she was available, by giving us her number for any help or questions but I didn't see her much. Good restaurants nearby, just have to look. 20 min walk downhill to the square. Do yourself a favor and take the tram back because the walk is entirely uphill. Overall, for the price I'm satisfied with my stay. I spent most of my time seeing the city and less time at the property, so if all you need is a place to lay your head I would recommend.

The apartment is situated less than half a mile from the metro station and a supermarket. The TV tower is even closer and there is a very good pub/restaurant two doors down. We had to wait a while for our keys but the apartment was quite pleasant, with the living room separate to the bedroom. WIFI was free and worked well and basic utensils, fridge, kettle and hob were included as part of the kitchenette. There was a farmers' market at the square by the metro station on Wednesday morning.

No air conditioning but the basement apartment was plenty cool in the hot weather. Kitchenette good. Leaky shower but overall very good and easy to get transport into the city centre

Tje stay was comfortable and in a great neighbourhood which allowed us to stay esily connected via metro or tram and also enjoy some of the local pubs and places to get something to eat. Drawbacks to the room included a thin divide between the room next door meaning we heard what they were talking about and they could likely hear us. The room also misses out on making use of a mezzanine level which could be used for the sleeping area or a living area as unused just makes the room feel empty.

This was great for a budget apartment, but really during the winter the room as a bit on the cold side: the radiator even at full capacity was quite feeble. Once in bed under the covers this really wasn't a problem, and we really only used the room as a place to sleep. The room was lovely and clean, and although basic the furniture was nice too, and very hardy. The shower and toilet, although separate to the room, were both very nice. Note: no toiletries as budget hotel, but there was handwash at least. The lady who let us into the apartment wasn't based there and so we did have to stand in the cold for 10-15 minutes. We were wrapped up very warm (December) so this wasn't awful, but could be for others.
