Taroko Liiko Hotels

We loved it here. It’s a beautiful, cosy hotel without that big hotel feel. Close to the national park and we managed a lot of early morning walks before the tour buses arrived to the park. We could even park our car just at the front.

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful view of the mountains and the sea. You're so close to Taroko, it's the perfect base to explore the park. We spent three days here, and we felt pampered. The staff is incredibly helpful, they reserved cabs and scooters for us, made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Stay here for the full Taroko experience!

Beautiful and affordable boutique hotel, warm and helpful staff, lovely hotel interior and hotel garden, lovely partial sea and mountain views from room, great breakfast with excellent local and western choices. Bus 302 into Taroko George stops right across street (US$5 for day pass, 5 mins to Taroko main gate, 10 mins to spectacular Shakadang trail, 30 mins to awe inspiring tunnel of nine turns stop, 40 mins to Silks Place Taroko hotel, which was way out of our price range ). Liiko hotel is an easy 5 min walk from Xincheng Taroko train station.

The check-in is fantastic. The receptionist personally showed us to the room. The room is very comfortable with japanese style toilet facilities. The environment is great as it is filled with greenery such as fish bowl with fishes and plants everywhere. It is very near to Taroko Nature Reserve. It only took us 10 mins to drive there. The breakfast is marvelous too! The only issue is we have to drive 40 mins to the city centre to shop and eat but it is ok as the journey is quite smooth. Highly recommend the hotel to stay in.

This is a perfect hotel as a base for visiting Taroko Gorge. Beautifully designed public spaces, delicious meals, and exceptional service. The park bus stops in front of the hotel. Can't recommend it enough!
