Hyatt House Portland/Downtown

Would return again. Great location for walking along the river with coffee. Central to all areas we wanted to visit for college visits and shopping. Very nice staff that was more than willing to accommodate some requests we had. Will definitely be out go-to Portland stay. Having a kitchenette was perfect because we have allergies and needed to be able to do some grocery shopping since we knew we wouldn’t be able to eat out much.

For a short one-night stay, Hyatt House Portland was fantastic. I felt safe and the service was spectacular. I enjoyed the morning breakfast pick up and the evening bar with great pricing.

I would definitely stay here again, the price was low for one night and the staff was very helpful and professional even for such a short stay.

The staff could not have been nicer. The area of PDX is lovely. Located close to OHSU hospital. The room was very clean. The pull out couch bed wasn’t comfortable (but that is frequently the case with pull out couch beds...)

Overall it was good, would be nice if they had a better selection of goodies, chips, chocolates... The staff we had contact with was really nice, helpful and pleasant. I'd suggest they have something colorful or happy on the walls in the hallways but, it was a good experience, will definitely recommend it!!

Great location. Comfortable clean and covid cautious. Would definitely stay again enjoyed the amenities of room kitchenette separate sitting area and views if city even though on street side not River.

Couldn’t check in due to hotel policy and rude front desk

My only complaint is parking. It needs to be known its not free and how much it really is. Other then that my friends and i enjoyed our stay

The parking was too expensive so we parked in a lot next door. Our car was broken into the first night we were there. No fault of the hotel but the area isn’t great. We enjoyed the stay but we experienced something very strange and unwelcome. On Thursday the phone in our room rang and we didn’t answer, the next day phone rang we did not answer again, then there was a knock at the door. I answered the door and it was a “wellness check” i was told by a tall slim man from the hotel. The following day they did not call. There was a knock and we ignored it and the knocking continued, my husband got up to answer the door and before he could place his mask on this same employee entered our room unannounced other than the persistent knocking. Again wellness check, if they don’t see or hear from us they check in on us. I never heard him knock on any other doors. It was intrusive and rude.

The staff here are amazing! Their friendly attitude and welcoming personality made everything feel that I was their VIP guest, but they do that for EVERY guest. The room was clean, had a fresh and inviting feel upon first opening the door. Their safety precautions are too notch with key card required to navigate the elevator from the ground floor, main/valet glass entrance locked unless key card or staff open them to enter which made feel more secure. Their COVID precautions were above expectations!
