Swissotel Al Maqam Makkah

This is the “other” swissotel of Makkah towers. This version however is not that great. Rooms are older and not same class and elegance as the original.

Excellent Experience

Very nice clean and comfortable room. Perfect service. When you order food from room service is is excellent huge and fulfilling. Only thing is they charge a lot to include breakfast, otherwise is good affordable hotel.

Actully , this is first time I reserved from hotel 5 star and seems to be 3 stars , location is far , rooms are dirty , staff unhelpful , housekeeping didn’t clean and stolen my perfum , unforgettable awful stayed . Shame on you hotels .com I tried several time to cancel this reservation and the staff were awful they just hold me on , trying to transfer to another one they said we can not to cancel until the hotel accept . I talked to swissotel almaqam directly and reservation department responses if u reserve from us we will refund your money but unfortunately u reserved via hotel.com or Expedia . By the way it is not few nights it’s 10 nights :( . Call center disaster and unhelpful I cost 107 kd just to solve my problem and nothing happen I lost everything.

The location was excellent and in house cleaning on point. The check in, check out and guest services could be vastly improved. For a first timer in Makkah, the hotel did not serve as my first point of contact. The concierge was limited in their help and could not provide recommendations on specific shops to look at or dining options in the mall.
