Hotel Alexandar Square Boutique

A very good hotel with a great location. The room was modern and clean and I think we got a lot for the price we paid. The only downside was the breakfast that didnt live up to the standard you are used to to in Northern Europe but compared to hotels in Eastern Europe it was better than the average.

Great staff, so friendly and really made out vacation great. Pece, one of the bartenders made some great recommendations !

We stopped over in Skopje on a longer car vacation to see a show there at the opera. The hotel had everything we needed for such a visit. Comfortable room with space for parents and two kids, parking (paid), central location, easy access by car, and a really good breakfast! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Skopje!

Only stayed one night. Room was comfortable. Location is excellent - walking distance to a variety of restaurants, museums, shopping, yet off the beaten path by a block so is less hectic and quiet. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Had to leave early before the cafe was open for breakfast. Staff made sure we had food to go which was a big help. would stay again if in Skopje in the future.

The hotel is very centrally located just 2 min away from the main square and the stone bridge. You can catch the airport shuttle bus and alight at the last stop (Holiday Inn Hotel). From there walk cross the GTC mall (diagonally opposite the bus stop next to Holiday Inn) to reach the main square. From there look for the alley where Hotel London is located (2nd alley right side of Marriott). The hotel is at the end of the alley as the London Hotel. The room is spacious by European standard and has a mini-bar as well as a safe. The bed is comfy and the shower is good. However the TV channels are limited (but do have CNN, BBC). Slippers and dental kits are not provided. The balcony is a plus with a view outside and nice to sit and have drinks. The breakfast is basic (eggs, sausages, pastries, fruits etc) and have both hot and cold items. There is a taxi ring right in front of the hotel and the bus stops for bus #60 (Matka) and bus #25 (Millennium Cross) are all nearby within 10min walk. Overall this is a value for money hotel which deserves recommendation.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Location is excellent for sightseeing in Skopje. It is possible to get taxi service to Ohrid right in front of the hotel.

All the staff was very nice, especially Alexandra was helpful to choose restaurants and printed docs we asked. Food was a bit simple, I think they should improve. The warm electric rack was nice!!!
