I booked Fern Court Apartment with Oceanic View III and when I arrived to check in I was sent to a villa at the back of an adjacent property CoolShade. It was at that point i was told that my reservation was changed to an "upgrade" . The rooms and location were not an upgrade based on the photo and description of Fern Court. It was at 3pm after a long travel day I was now being asked if i would take the villa, as if i had a choice. No one communicated before, and the Manager was to send the directions which she didnt, i had to call at 3pm to get the instructions. During the stay, there was no water on the property 3 times. I texted the Manager, who said she would get back to me but didnt. On the day i was departing there was no water from 7am I again had to send a text to the Manager, who responded around 1030am, by which time I had already left quite frustrated. The owners were sent a message and informed. I would not book any property managed by that team of persons. I was charged a cleaning fee of 60USD and a destination fee which came up to a total of 135 USD . I will avoid any property that requires that I pay additional money on arrival in the future especially by cash. The issue was not that there was no water, but that no contingency was in place and that lethargic response by the management team on the ground. In addition to the poor communication of the owner, i could not get them on the 876# on the accommodation confirmation. Thus the poor rating.
