Helpful staff. Secure building. Very clean.

I found that the front desk was always busy; s/he was always alone with lots of guests around waiting in line. It would be better for the management to hire someone else so the guests don’t wait in line for over 20 minutes to get their questions answered.

Facilities-wise, this hotel is about as good as one may expect for this price range & central location, though the neighborhood could be slightly intimidating for some. What disappoints here is the service. Breakfast staff (2-3 at any time) are more keen on talking among themselves, rather than clearing up dirty plates or even tables after guests have finished eating. When we booked an airport transfer the night before, we were told this would cost 20k pesos, and that the car is big enough for 4 pax. The next morning, what showed up was a regular small black & yellow cab, which we could have just got from a waiting taxi line just 20 steps away & which could barely fit a third person, let alone 4 bags, if there were 4 of us instead of me & my wife. Despite my protestations, the lady at the reception (Maria) insisted that this is the normal car for all airport transfers. When i told her about the car big enough for 4 pax promised the night before, i was told this was what we got since there were only 2 if us. The taxi driver seems caught up in something he would rather not have, and gave us apoligetic looks/shrugs of the shoulder. The one bright light in the hotel's service experience is the very nice polite young man at the bar who ever so kindly filled my hot water flasks, which u needed for my medicine before going to bed and apologized fir keeping me waiting each time he had to attend to bar drink orders first.

Very clean hotel in a quiet area. Close to Bellavista. The staff helped us with finding things we needed and were very friendly
